The paint is very easy to use and goes on smoothly. It does bleed through fabrics so use a cardboard backing between the fabric and your surface. The color is vibrant and i was able too achieve the desired opacity and results with two coats. I like that its water based so cleanup is easy and there's no intense odor.

This paint went on bright and smooth on denim. It covered up other colors in one coat. It was nice to paint an image on top of. Other fabric paint brands had a plastic feel so it was hard to paint over.

These work great at stopping bird strikes. Since using them, we haven’t had one problem.

I used this BLUEBIRD Fabric Paint in Vermilion Red for a few fabric projects (mainly cotton and a cotton/poly blend), and overall it performed very well. The first thing that stands out is the color — it’s a true, vibrant red with good saturation. It doesn’t look watered down once dry, which can be an issue with some lower-end fabric paints. One coat gives decent coverage, but for a bold, even finish, I recommend applying two thin coats rather than one heavy one. Application is straightforward. The consistency is smooth and easy to control, whether you’re using a brush or a stencil. It doesn’t bleed excessively into the fabric fibers if you avoid overloading your brush, which is important for cleaner edges and detail work. Drying time was reasonable (about 6 hours before handling heavily), and after heat-setting, the paint held up well. The fabric still had some flexibility — it’s not overly stiff or crunchy like some fabric paints can be. After washing (inside-out, cold cycle), the color stayed intact with minimal fading. A couple things to note: * Works best on lighter fabrics — on darker materials, you may need multiple coats for opacity. * Definitely heat-set if you want durability; skipping that step will affect longevity. Overall, this is a solid choice for DIY apparel, team shirts, or craft projects. Good pigment, easy to use, and holds up after washing when applied correctly.

This is my favorite color in the bluebird selection. It comes out sort of metallic and very pretty. Make sure it doesn’t let it dry fully before you put on a second coat or else your dry time will take longer.

I made a big mom mistake and washed my sons baseball canvas bag that he's had for 6yrs.. when I washed it, it accidentally got bleached and turned into a washed out pink color. This paint brought it back the original red color. Super easy to work with and dried quickly not making a mess. Would definitely recommend.

This covered good but I was going to use it on some patio cushion fabric and it leaves a plastic feel. I tried Fabricoat and I liked the feel of it much better and the paint was thinner much easier to use. They didn't have the color I wanted to I just mixed my own color. I think the Bluebird probably is great for craft projects but it wasn't good for what I needed it for, They have some very pretty colors to choose from though.

The fabric paint served its purpose. The piping on my purse was peeling. I didn’t want to throw the purse away, so I decided to touch it up with fabric paint. I applied two thin layers. The first application was sufficient.

Its work fine for me.

First time using it, it's a bit watery. It worked like a charm.

Absolutely loved the color I ordered (silver). It is thick and goes on very smoothe. Takes a while to dry so it allows for second chances to fix mistakes :-)
