A great gift for young students obsessed with learning.
All I can say is WOW. What a great combination of learning methods. This was bought as a gift for my genius 12 year old nephew. It allowed to study the topic visually and tactically. I still plays with it regularly.

Wow!! This is a must!
My kids are having a blast with this set. Theyโre enjoying the immersive learning experiences, exploring museums, sailing with Vikings, jousting with knights, and flying fighter jets! It works great with the app and VR set. Super easy to get started-my 8 and 12 year olds got on them on their own. This set makes a great gift for kids that love history. They also have other sets that you can purchaseโwe also have the dinosaur set and we will definitely be purchasing more.

Good item - slow shipping- damaged product
I think my history loving nephew will love this product (it is a Christmas gift). It was bigger than I expected. The box came damaged (ripped/torn corner).

Fun- have to download a different app for each subject
Great quality, nice books, the VR part is really fun. You do have to download a different app for each subject

Has Potential but Disappointing
Has Potential but Disappointing. Very hard to get it to work IF it does. Cumbersome to focus on pages to get them to load even for an adult. Unable to get some pages to load. One page that loaded only showed a fire in a cave while the audio was talking about a lot of things. The pages that did load were kind of decent. But really not any better that watching YouTube educational videos. Instructions are limited and nothing to address any problems (like getting pages to load).

Fantastic
This exceeded my expectations. I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! I am looking at getting him another one of these from this company for a future gift. The virtual reality is excellent and the book is very well done. This is an excellent educational resource that I would definitely recommend.

Nice history book with VR features, but additional hands on activities would have been nice
My 10-year-old son is very interested in history, and I thought this "Virtual Reality History!" would be a good addition to his homeschool history lessons. He says he likes it, and he spent quite a while looking at it when he first got it. But, I don't think he loves it, since he hasn't picked it up again without prompting. DK books like this one are usually good quality. The layout is a little busy, but has a lot of interesting information and illustrations. The app downloaded easily onto my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, and once it was set up my son was able to use it on his own to explore. We have several other VR sets by this brand, and I think this type of VR is a fun novelty but a little overrated. It gets old quick, and my son usually skips the glasses and just uses the AR features. If you select handheld mode only, it will show regular video content rather than the VR which requires the goggles. I like that a hands on activity was included, but the ship puzzle doesn't interest my son much and isn't something nice enough that we would keep for display. I think this would have been a better value if a better project or maybe even a few projects were included. At over $40 currently, it seems very expensive for a book with some VR features and a pretty basic puzzle. So, my son's happy, but I can't recommend it unless the price drops a bit more or you're not concerned with the cost.
