I have similar grolsch-type bottles by Otis Classic that seal tightly. These do not. The shape is slightly different too, and maybe that also affects the seal. The main thing is the white cap-thing. It's slightly smaller and also a cheaper, more translucent plastic. When I blew a big batch of 'buch, only the buch' in the Otis Classic bottles gets great carbonation. These get little to none, so they are a total failure for secondary bottle fermentation. . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice bottles for the price. *by V***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2018* Bottles are perfect for kombucha but small opening makes it a challenge to add fruit purée and to clean them. I did find a great cleaning brush set on Amazon and the one specifically for these bottles works perfect so make sure you get a brush to clean them.
