We just had to order these. Upon arrival, we sat on the couch with our 10 and 6 year old sons. My husband, myself and my 10 year old (another heat lover) grabbed a single chip, counted to 3 and place the whole chip in our mouths. For 3-5 seconds, we looked at each other with a "I don't feel a thing" look. During seconds 6-10, our look changed to "It's not as hot as I expected." Seconds 11-600, we lost all looks on our faces. The heat was so intense that we just didn't know what to do with ourselves. Hearing became heightened, energy sky rocketed, slight dizziness set in with and all we could do was wait to come down from the heat high. These potato chips actually make it difficult to concentrate on a person speaking to you. They give you a sort of tunnel vision with the desire to cheat and drink milk at the end of the tunnel. The experience was well worth it. These chips don't only offer intense heat. They have amazing flavor as well which can sometimes be lost in foods delivering a dangerous heat level. We thought the little 3oz bag wouldn't be enough. I have a feeling that it will last a lot longer than I first assumed. If you love heat, try these! You will not be disappointed! Good luck. The chips are well seasoned and liberally coated, they have a nice crunch and crisp to them, and they have a nice smokey barbecue flavor to them. Not the artificial Lays kind, that's bs. This is the real barbecue flavor. The heat is not resting in the mouth like some spicy chips or food, it all lies in the back of your throat and let me tell you, I ate two bags and woke up the next day with a RAGING sore throat. It was the worst. Thankfully, I slowly recovered in the next few days but I couldn't drink or eat at all that day or the next (drinking water DO NOT DO, the gulping movement heavily disturbs and irritates the throat...it's horrible, even attempting to drink with a straw in small sips was agonizing), it was too painful. So fair warning, be cautious on how much you eat. EXPERIENCED CHILI HEADS ONLY I kid you not. I had heard reports of dud bags being sold for cheap, so I thought with this price it must be legit. I was completely wrong. They were no more hot than a bog of flamin hot cheetos. My wife actually said they were, "not too spicy", and she has a hard time with tabasco sauce. Complete waste of time and money.
