Do not buy this unit!
I agree with what other reviewers said about this product. Mine stopped working after two months. I disassembled the unit and found the problem was with the AC socket. The AC socket internal connection to the power supply is through surface contact. Having removed the plastic enclosure I was able to reestablish the AC socket connection and the power supply, sans enclosure, is now working. I would not reccommend taking the power supply apart as I did unless you know what you are doing as you may electrocute yourself if you make a mistake.

HP Envy laptop says this is not an HP charger BUT it works great
When you plug in for the first time, have your laptop open and active. You'll see the indicator in the corner that it's not an actual HP device. Same thing that happens when you use non HP printer cartridges, but just move on. Charges at the same fast rate of the OEM one.
