It is pretty inconsistent. Turns on about 50% of the time. The dinosaur looks pretty cool, and my son does love it. We'll, he did, till he realized that there wasn't a switch to get it to turn into 3D. It's not even close to a 3D effect and not worth the price paid. The colors change quickly so not like a relaxing effect to go to sleep to. Cool decoration in the dark I suppose. Gets really annoying after a couple of minutes because it changes color so fast. Not what I was expecting from description and only works inconsistently. Wanted to love it but but disappointed. Returning.
