Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews this glove has received. I have been using these gloves on the heavy bag and wave master for about 6 months and they are excellent for what they specifically state they should be used for - the heavy bag.Bare in mind, these are Cleto Reyes gloves. If you are unfamiliar with how Mexican style gloves are made, understand that the padding in the knuckles area is intentionally light as compared with traditional style boxing gloves. This is not a product flaw, it is a specific style of glove. If you wear wraps correctly and have proper boxing form, it will not be an issue. if you don't use wraps, and/or are a novice at boxing, you will certainly find these uncomfortable. And really, if you are a novice, you shouldn't be purchasing a glove of this high a caliber to begin with.A reviewer here stated that all the 16oz are in the wrist. While this was obviously hyperbole, I will say emphatically that 16oz all in the wrist is not a product flaw. The wrist is really where you need the most protection in order to keep a stable punch and prevent the most common boxing injury - a sprained wrist from throwing a bad hook punch. It is a good thing - ESPECIALLY on the heavy bag.I practice mixed martial arts and kickboxing anywhere from 4 to 6 days a week. I use these gloves 90% of the time. Its a great product. But if you are a novice and don't understand what Cleto Reyes is going for with this product, purchase something a little less specialized.Also: I ordered Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Black/White, Large - and that was exactly what I got when I opened up my package. No complaints from me.

So you've decided to purchase the best bag gloves out there and have $150 to $200 to spend. Rival, Ringside, Hayabusa, Title and Cleto Reyes all have gloves in this category. Rival and Title Blitz are excellent, but Cleto Reyes is the best. As a previous reviewer stated so well, these are Mexican style gloves. In my opinion this is precisely what makes them outshine the rest. Not as much padding in the knuckles, but this allows you to feel the power of your punch. Ringside's Heritage Super Bag Gloves are beautiful to look at, but have so much padding it's almost like hitting the bag with pillows. Built to last with outstanding wrist support, these Cletos are worth the price. The only slight issue I had was the right thumb was a little uncomfortable, but after a week of breaking in they are perfect.

i received totally different gloves! i bought Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Pink, Junior but what i received is Cleto Reyes Super Bag Gloves, Pink, GIRLS !!!Very disappointed!

Didn't feel right. The the price, they weren't worth it. 16oz all in the wrist and felt like I had oven mits on
