The kind of tool you rarely need but, when you do, this is the one you want
Needed to separate a back cover from a music player to replace the worn out rechargeable battery but the cover is glued on with no easy way to pry it off without a suction cup. Ordered this set and tried it as soon as I got it. It works great. The suction provided is very high and I was able to easily pull the cover up enough to get a separation tool into the gap which allowed me to complete the battery replacement. Without this suction cup tool, there is no way to get the cover off without scratching up the player. This is exactly what you need to do this particular task. I also used it to assist in removing a Samsung Galaxy tablet back cover and, since this is a convenient set of two suction cup tools, I was able to disassemble that tablet much easier than I expected. Very inexpensive and invaluable to get this sort of task done and done easily.

Worked great for iPhone screen repair - Strong suction
For the price, I was a bit skeptical. But this worked just fine for an iPhone 12 mini screen repair. I was surprised at how good the suction was. I pulled very hard on it, and it didn't release until it slid off to one edge of the screen. I used it when replacing batteries on 2 phones. iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 14. It worked great. It was easy to use. Would buy again. Much better suction that those little clear suction cups that come with iPhone battery replacement kits.

These do what they are supposed to
Good solid tool at a reasonable price. These did what they are supposed to do, with good, solid suction when I used them to pull the glass off a 21" iMac to upgrade to SSD. The suction was good, though after letting the suction cups sit on the screen as I was working on the iMac, one of them let loose suction (after an hour or more) and I had to reestablish the suction before I put the screen back on. Not a big deal, but it's worth being aware of that possibility when you are working on a heavy screen like that so you don't try to pick it up and have it fall. Just check to be sure the suction cups are sealed on before picking up the screen to put it back on. One thing is that there was some kind of odd coating/substance on the suction cups, not sure what, but it left marks on the screen that I had to put some effort into scrubbing off. So I would recommend washing these suction cups thoroughly with soap and water before using them. That may have been the cause of the loss of suction. I have a feeling cleaning the suction cups thoroughly before using will improve the seal. I have more iMacs to work on, and will try to report back on how well they do on the next one.

4 of these small suction cups worked perfectly to lift my 75 inch TV screen panel.
These things worked perfectly to lift my LG 75 inch TV panel off when I was changing the LED light strips. I first cleaned the rubber suction cups with alcohol, let them completely dry. When I installed them on the TV screen panel I pushed slightly down, pushing on the orange material near the black suction cup and then closed the clamp on the suction cup. We did a test lift before the actual move, just to assure the suction cups were going to stay on and they did with no problem. We then removed the TV screen and placed it on a clean flat surface so we could complete the job of replacing the bad LED strips. Remember to remove the suction cups after you move the screen, don't let them sit on the screen while you continue with the job to replace the LED strips. This will minimize any marking on the screen surface, mine had none by doing it this way. Also, I purchased 4 of these suction cups, since they are very small. The 4 suction cups worked perfectly for the 75 inch screen. My wife helped me with the screen move, she had two suction cups and I had two suction cups. Repair is done, the TV is back up on the wall and looks beautiful, full repair including the suction cups was approximately $100, sure beats spending $1500 - $3000 on a new 75 inch TV.

It worked well on a TCL TV, however Samsung-Damaged
I was able to repair 2 TCL TV's with these, however when I used on a Samsung LCD, one of the suction cups damaged the LCD screen. It appears that there is LCD screen damage to the spot where one of the suction cups was attached. The other cup location is not damaged. There is a bright spot at the location of one of the suction cups. This was on a Samsung UN55H6203AF TV that was maybe ~7yrs old. The screen age could be the reason with this last screen "damage" See the spot on the letter "g" on Settings.

Not as advertised
These are shown in the pictures to be pulling dents out of a car, yet then if you read the description, it states that these are perfect for electronics repair. Well, I tried using these to pull out dents. First, they are about 1 inch in diameter, so smaller dents can’t be attached to, and then bigger dents are too big and the suction can’t pull them out. So, what can these be used for relative to automotive dents? I am having a hard time finding a good answer.

Works perfect for its intended use….not removing car dents!
I purchased this 2-pack for opening iPads and cell phones with my 11 yr old granddaughter, so she could see what makes them tick. She disassembled a whole radio when she was 9, and has a scientific mind. I’m not sure in what world other reviewers thought they could remove car dents! I saw one or two reviews referencing their disappointment! In the pix shown I’m holding a 1 3/4 pound iPad, whir case, and I can’t pull it loose!

Bought these because of the great reviews I read about them (plus I needed them!)
Very impressed with these. Needed to use suction cups to hold the screen in order to replace the hard drive on a 27" iMac. All the how-to videos I watched said that it is a very detailed, difficult process. They said if someone really wants to attempt doing it him or herself, it's a MUST to use suction cups! I must say, I was a bit skeptical but... they worked perfectly! No slipping at all - they did the trick. I removed the suction cups from the glass between the time I started the job and closing it up so I wouldn't have to work hard to remove the circular marks. I loved these and would recommend them to anyone who needs them. Great product!
