Amazon Brand - Solimo Light Roast Coffee Pods, Morning Light, Compatible with Keurig 2.0 K-Cup Brewers, 100 Count

Buying a box of 100 to try this coffee seemed risky, but I went for it. Received the correct quantity of 100 pods, all intact. They function properly in my Keurig machine with no dramas. I drink a LOT of coffee, and over the years my taste has evolved toward light roast in K-cup coffee. This coffee fits the bill perfectly; the taste is fresh, full, pleasant, well-balanced, and without undue acidity. This is good coffee for a reasonable price!

The price on these is right at what I pay for the generic brand at my local grocery/big box store. But this is in a box of 100. I know Amazon is good about refunds/exchanges, but still I didn't want to buy a box of 100 of these, not like it, and then figure out what to do from there. Amazon offers coupons and sales on the Solimo brand coffee pretty regularly, so I waited until I noticed a good enough sale to buy it. That happened last week. I was able to get the 100 ct light roast for not much more than what I pay for 48 ct at my local big box store. We drink a decent amount of coffee in my house. Around six pods a day. We enjoy our keurig for the convenience and typically the flavor seems better than most ground coffee that we buy. I always try to make sure I'm not paying a crazy amount of money for the keurig convenience. Hence why I've been buying generic. If I want a really good cup of coffee, I go out and buy it at a coffee shop. For us, coffee at home needs to be simple and convenient and not taste terrible. Readily available and there to help get us through the day. We've done the french press and bought fresh beans for that. Used an espresso machine for many years. Lately, simpler is better for us. For us, this coffee works well. The price is right. The taste is smooth and not bitter for our tastes. It has enough caffeine to give us the pick-me-up that we need during the day. On subscribe and save, it represents a better non-sale price as I've been able to find on k-cups. It's now on regular order around here. I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a decent coffee at a good value.

OK, right up front, I need people to know that I am a dyed-in-the wool Dunkin lover. But with the price of coffee rising, I decided to look for a less expensive alternative. I've tried many different brands and blends and finally found a coffee that's 'almost' as good as Dunkin! I'm not sure if I can even tell the difference anymore. Solimo Light Roast has a new customer!

I didn’t realize how much I missed my morning coffee until I decided to start drinking coffee again and using this brand and blend.

I am not a person who just LOVES coffee, but I find this to be too strong, maybe even bitter. I had returned one that was medium and got this instead, but I still do not like it. If you like strong coffee, perhaps you will like this. I just did not think it right to make another return, so I will drink it, or give it away.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've now purchased the Dark roast, French roast, and Light Roast versions of this. I'm not a coffee snob but I also appreciate good coffee. This is good coffee. Better than good, really. The dark and French are both too strong for me but the light is perfect. We've been going with Green Mountain for almost 2 years...not anymore. This Amazon brand has a better flavor than the Green Mountain brand on all 3 flavors. I'd ignore the negative reviews. If you are just looking for a good cup of coffee and want to spend half the $ over the rest, this is the pod for you. If you're looking for gourmet coffee....then you probably aren't using a Keurig anyway...lol. This is excellent coffee at an excellent price.
