Funny story. I purchased this after using my friends set. I used it twice in prep for a 10-day canoe trip. But since there were scouts with me that may not treat it well I rented from a lodge their Bugaboo. There's were several years old and 100's of trips and although there was wear and tear it was a fabulous set. We cooked for 14 people on this set (Albeit in two sessions each :). My favorite part is the handle that folds and stores into the cups and can be used on both pots and the pan. This is in the top 10 items I've ever purchased for camping. It is heavier than what you would want for backpacking with one or two people but is tolerable weight-wise if you have 4. Strong recommend for short hikes or canoeing.

used the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Camping Kit on a recent trip to Ohiopyle, along with a wool base layer and long-sleeve shirt. This camping set is impressively compact and well-designed. Although I didn’t use the two bowls, I did use the non-stick frying pan with a little oil, and it performed perfectly. The set includes four plates and eight cups, making it great for small groups — easily serving up to four people. Everything packs neatly, is easy to use, and cleans up quickly. The only drawback is that the plates don’t hold a large amount of food. Overall, it’s a great, efficient, and space-saving camping kit that I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys simple, well-made outdoor gear.

My family and I camp a lot, so we are always looking for improved camping gear especially things that can pack down small if we decide to go backpacking. This is an awesome product. It has nearly everything you need. Very easy to clean after use.

Love this set, nestles well. We even keep soap and sponge in one cup, handle in another, small towel in another and a tiny backpacking stove in the fourth. Picked up some spoon/forks that lay flat under the lid too.

This ceramic cook set looks great. Will use it next month and update review if needed.
