What what I would have gone with.
I'd first would like to state that if I were to buy a grinder this would not be my first option. Had I paid or had I the choice I would have gone with an electric grinder. That said I'd get on with the review. For what it does, it does well. It grinds the coffee beans really good.A funny story; my house actually did have a grinder before this one. It was the exact same type. However, it was never actually used. Even though the person who bought the first one thought we could use one it was never actually put it use. It just sat there for months collecting dust and spiders. So one day I got the idea to buy coffee beans. Just go the unused grinder could finally be put to use. Though it took a good amount of time for me to find one I found a nice light roast coffee to grind. When I brought the beans home I first had to clean out the old grinder of the dust webs and possible spider that could still be inside. But that is where I made a mistake. I didn't wait until it was completely dry to start grinding and ended up rendering the grinder useless. So I had offered to buy the replacement with my account as the person who bought it didn't have Prime and I would have liked the new grinder to arrive sooner than it would if she had ordered it from her account. She still paid for it.So the new one arrives and I grind a lot of coffee. The only issue would be that grinding the coffee would be quite a workout and would be quite difficult for some people to use. So basically this does what it is meant to very well. But doing so it a good out. Though I suppose in a way that might be a plus.

Check out the size
I should’ve checked out the size of the grinder. It fits in my hand and probably doesn’t have enough room to grind enough coffee for a 4cup pot

This is a good little coffee grinder
My husband has switched from tea to coffee in the morning, and he wanted a manual coffee bean grinder.I was hesitant about this one because some reviewers thought it was difficult to use, but my husband is very happy with it. He likes that it is ceramic and adjustable, and it's easy for him (age 72) to use. It's small, but it grinds enough beans for a pot of coffee without taking up much counter space, and theantique design looks good in our 19th century house.

Relatively nice looking grinder that unfortunately suffers from quality and capacity problems.
I really liked this grinder at first - it's lightweight, but it looks pretty good, and once I'd dialed in the coarseness of my grind, I was using it pretty regularly. The grounds drawer is honestly not the greatest design, as it tends to leave more coffee than I'd like spread over the interior of the drawer tray, and the small capacity means it may require two or three (or more) drawers-full to make a 5-8 cup pot of coffee, which can be a fair bit of back and forth. Basic cleaning was pretty easy; just remove the drawer, and tap out the loose grinds. The manual suggests running some white rice through it to clear it out periodically, but given what happened next, I can't imagine that would be a good idea.Unfortunately, it seems like there's a build quality issue here. After only a couple of months, I noticed that the handle felt like it was spinning loose every few cranks, and it took multiple false stops and backing off to grind a small number of beans. Eventually, the handle seemed to be spinning loose if the beans put up even the tiniest resistance; it looks like the grinding stone stripped out the threading holding it in place, and now the stone only spins if the grinder is completely empty. Sadly, I really can't recommend this, unless you plan to use it once a month and have it mostly as a kitchen display piece.
