This pole is designed to work with a survey rover headpiece and is very nice. Carbon fiber makes it lighter, and doesn't interfere with the compass. I'm hoping is doesn't conduct electricity either, but I didn't test that with any powerlines so I'm not sure 8^). Collapses neatly and comes with a bag, but it's durable enough to just throw in in the back of the car on the floor. Well made.

I really am happy with this Carbon Fiber Rod! It is very easy to collapse it and store and fit easily anywhere in the truck. It is a first class rod with excellent construction.

It feels sturdy, and does the job. Would be five stars if the section clamps were more durable in the field. I keep having to put them back together as they will allow the whole pieces to slide completely out and it's annoying. Other than that, for light use they are fine. If you are a surveyor, get something a little higher quality.
