The mold itself is quite thick making it harder to use. I love the texture finish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy, a little hard to demold *by R***R on August 16, 2024* This is a review of an Amazon Vine product. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see enclosed pictures.)This is a relatively large, thick mold. It will put up with a lot of use, probably dozens and dozens of castings.In practice, the thickness combined with the texture made this a bit of a challenge to demold. I used a liberal dose of silicone to pre-treat the mold. Even with that, it was a struggle to get the product out. The good news is that I was using a very high tensile strength acrylic and I was able to wrestle it out.If I had been using plaster of paris or some softer casting material then I probably would not have been able to get the candle holder out all in one piece, intact.I love the size and the look.
