Solid kid’s smartwatch that’s affordable with reliable calling and GPS — 5 stars I bought the TickTalk5 for my 10‑year‑old in 5th grade, so she can stay in touch while riding the late bus with much older kids, including all the way up thru high school. Call quality is clear even out in the boondocks of southeastern York County, PA, and GPS updates are accurate within a few minutes. The parental app is straightforward to set up and use. What I liked • Real phone functionality: It works like a true cell phone with its own number, not a limited device. • Service value: We use the base prepaid plan ($9.99) — unlimited texts, plenty of call minutes, and a small data allotment. • Reliable coverage: Calls and location tracking have been dependable in rural areas where other kid‑watch brands struggle. What could be better • Battery life: Expect about 24–36 hours with moderate use, so plan on nightly charging. Bottom line If you want simple, dependable watch with calling and location features without giving your child a full smartphone, this is an excellent, affordable choice. Unlike Verizon’s Gizmo, which restricts texting to approved devices or 3rd party apps, the TickTalk5 behaves like a normal phone and gives you more flexibility and peace of mind.

This TickTalk watch has been an excellent choice for my family. It’s easy for my nine-year-old son to use and the parent app is very functional. I love that it has GPS tracking and video calling so I can check on my son whenever I want. My son loves to use it to call his grandparents without having to use my phone. The battery lasts all day and charges quickly. I use the AT&T network and it usually has a strong connection. The only thing I would change is the notifications when I open the parents app. While I love that it’s tracking my son’s steps. It’s not the first thing I need to know when I open the app. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

Awesome watch. The picture quality is great for a watch camera and the GPS is accurate and real time. Sound quality is excellent too. I love that my son can receive SMS texts and regular phone calls without making everyone download the app. App is only needed for video calls. The ability to let him have control over contacting approved family and friends and not worry unapproved people can contact him is stress releiving. I only really have 2 complaints. First, the band was too small for my 7yo w larger wrists. It was tight on the last hole. I did replace with aftermarket bands and he loves it now. Tech support has advised they are working on the band issue for the watches as they are taking the feedback seriously. Second, the iheart radio app is awesome BUT there's no way that I can find to turn the app off without restarting the watch, so it just runs in the background draining the battery quicker. If it weren't for those issues it would be 5 stars. I'm excited for the real time gps tracking and his ability to call if he gets lost so I have peace of mind when we are out and about.

I bought this TikTok watch as a birthday gift for my son, and he was so excited because his best friend has it as well. The design and color are amazing and it’s very easy for kids to use. One of the best features is the GPS, which allows me to track his location and feel more safe and comfortable knowing where he is. The sound and screen quality are good, and the battery life is also very good. Overall, it’s a great watch for kids and parents, and I highly recommend it.

My 8 year old son loves this watch. It has some cool animations. We bought it as a replacement to his SyncUP smart watch. He hasn't regretted it since. Calls come in clear and easy. His spelling isn't perfect, so the text assistance has been super helpful in sending clear messages. This keeps us from constantly calling for quick updates. The GPS tracker is pretty good, could be a little more accurate but it works for general location. He enjoys the camera feature, using it to snap pics while he's on his scooter outside. The battery life is really good, so I don't worry about it dying while he's playing outside. I would definitely buy this watch again.

Seriously GREAT kids smart watch! We have had a Gabb watch for the last few years, and this thing is leaps and bounds above the rest. Clear call quality (no glitching!), great GPS tracking, lots of amazing features, easy to set up. I wish we had picked this one from the beginning! Highly recommend. If you research and compare all the kid GPS watches like I do & you’re not ready to get your kid a phone, just stop now and purchase this one!

My son loves this watch. Great investment and he's loving being able to call his family as well as take photos and get picture messages

We bought this for our child as he was leaving to summer school. From the very first day, the battery only lasted 6 hours. Later it lasted less and less , charging very little during the whole night and after 20 days it shut off completely and never went back on. As our child was away from day one using the watch , we weren’t able to return the item … 200 euros straight in the bin. Zero recommendable
