From the Publisher Review: Great read - Amazing book! Review: A cute and fun read - This was my first book by the author and it’s definitely not my last. Collide is such a cute and fun college sports romance that beautifully blends humor, banter, and character development. Summer Preston is a senior student and aspiring sports psychologist who wants absolutely nothing to do with hockey players but when her thesis forces her to work with Aiden Crawford, the university hockey captain with a bold reputation, sparks begin to fly between them. Their reluctant teamwork soon turns into a connection that’s full of tension and vulnerability. This book had me smiling and swooning with all its witty banter and heartwarming chemistry. The dynamic between Summer and Aiden is full of flirty humor and emotional growth, and what really stood out to me was Aiden’s honesty about his feelings and how he helped Summer break free from her fears and insecurities. The side characters were another highlight for me as they’re the kind of characters who fill every scene with laughter and good energy. While the story is somewhat predictable, it’s still an incredibly enjoyable read for me and I’d totally recommend this to anyone who loves slow-burn tension, jock meets his match trope and beautiful character development 💚

Can't wait to Read the next book in the series!
Omg!!!! I loved it! Love them!!! Adore them!! 😭😭💗🤌🏻 If you like sports romance at its prime this one is for you for sure!! ❣ Tropes - 💚Strangers to Friends to Lovers ✨Sports Romance 💚Hockey Captain × Psych Student ✨Found Family 💚Forced Proximity ✨He falls first 💚Black Cat FMC x Golden Retriever MMC ✨She hates hockey players 💚Dual POV This book LITERALLY made me want to manifest my partner as AIDEN!! Why the F is he fictional dude!!! Why!!! 😭😭🙊 Moving on cuz we have to. 😭 The storyline, the characters, the plot and specially the SPICE was spicing!! Couldn't ask for it to be anything better than this. Also, the way Summer's character developed and transitioned through the challenges & became more aware of her feelings and the way she let go her uptight nature and live life a little, striked a little too home for me. That it's important to be focused on your career and have fun at the same time. To not be to rigid and be open to new experiences and unexpected changes and outcomes. The level of understanding between Aiden and Summer is everything, their bond and definitely the way they sync in bedroom is on next level. *hehe* 😏 Overall, this book surely became one of my favs in sports romance category. Also, this was my first time reading the author's work and I'm definitely looking forward to read 'Spiral' next. Can't wait. 💚💚💚

Review
This is by far one of my most favorite reads of this year and from all of the books I've ever read. I can't really pinpoint the parts I loved cause there are so so so many. I loved Summer but I'd sell my soul to have an aiden in my life. Also I really really loved the side characters and there was a smile on my face the whole time I was reading this book. I'm so glad I picked it up. The whole development of summer's relationship with her father is portrayed very amazingly and I can't wait to read the whole series. The best compliment I give to a book is that it made my heart giddy. This book made my heart giddy and I won't be surprised if I reread it in a few days. Also I really really love the cover🤍

Easy read
I read this book so fast!! It was an easy and fun read that I had a hard time putting down from the start. I’ve seen people compare it to “Icebreaker” and I can definitely see some similarities. However, the overall story/plot is different and unique. I fell in love with Aiden and Summer both as a couple and individually. The characters both had their own unique stories that blended together so beautifully. There were also times during this read that I found myself laughing out loud. Some of Summer’s one liners had me dying. But honestly I love Kian (one of Aiden’s teammates) so much! He was the comic relief we needed. The spice in this book is definitely spicy but not overboard. If you enjoy spice then this book had the perfect amount! Overall, I loved this book, its characters, and Bal Khabra’s writing. I will definitely be reading her next book, Spiral! 🩷

Hockey romance with a swoonnnyyyy hero!
Summer, a psychology student has to work with a captain of the hockey team, Aiden. She doesn't want anything to do with hockey because of her father. The story started with both of them hating each other and Aiden waving a white flag and then slowly and steadily ending up together. I loved the way the romance didn't just happen and there was a lot of building up but the hero falls first and harder. He is such a golden retriever and the heroine is the grumpy one here. She is a reader and he reads her books, mainly the red tabbed ones to reenact them. And he gets invested in Turkish dramas and they watch them together. He makes her tea because she loves it and buys her favourite tea package for her. He is the romantic one in their relationship and I loved every second of that. There is this cutest gang, Aiden's team-mates and roommates. I loved how we get to meet them all and they have this group chat and it's all super fun. And they all leave Kian out of it. Poor baby but Summer buddy reads a romance book with him. I loved that dynamic. The book could've been shorter but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Also, this book is similar to The deal and if you enjoyed that, you'd love this one too. This New Adult book with a lot of spiciness is what you need on a rainy day. Do check it out!

An entertaining read
The novel focuses on Summer Preston, an aspiring sports psychologist and Aiden Crawford, a college hockey captain. Both of them are reluctantly paired for a research project. Their initial tension gradually evolves into a compelling enemies-to-lovers romance. The characters are well-developed with Aiden's laid-back nature sharply contrasting with Summer's driven attitude. Supporting characters especially Aiden's teammates and Summer's friend Amara add humour and depth. While the plot follows familiar romance tropes, the witty dialogue and strong character development keep it engaging. Overall, ‘Collide’ is an entertaining and light read.
