This version is clearly superior to the similar version without the anti-twist locating pins that can also be found on Amazon. The allen wrench/hex key provided is purely to be used for leverage to tighten the large thumbscrews -- there are no other adjustments on the handles nor hex bolts that fit the key. You will want to make sure your Neewer phone cage has all its screws tightened down before using this. The hinge and closure for locking the phone in the case were loose from the factory on mine, and the extra torsion and leverage on the phone case while using the handles caused the case to pop right open.
