A strong wave motion is required, meaning you are unlikely to activate it by accident (or for leaves, insects, low flying birds to trigger it) which has been an annoyance with other more sensitive wave activated torches. Also, having multiple brightness settings is great - I've only needed to use the first setting so if I do accidentally trigger the wave sensor, I'm not immediately plunged into darkness.The light given off is bright, focussed and wide enough to provide a good line of sight.All in all a great product, maybe a little more expensive than other available products, but the quality and function of the PathBrite head torch is well worth the spend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who needs Petzl? *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 November 2016* Based on what I can see and feel right now, it looks a great product and much cheaper than the famous brand!
