Samsung S701D 3.1ch Lifestyle Ultra Slim Soundbar in White with Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos

Pleasantly surprised, especially with the price paid given it's £300 elsewhere online. Compliments my Samsung TV perfectly and took minutes to set up. The TV automatically detected the soundbar and initialised the Q-Symphony which sounds incredible given the size of the soundbar. It is ultra slim yet delivers sound perfectly for my viewing needs and also when playing music too. The subwoofer provides and adequate level of bass. I like that it connects to the WiFi which means we can cast Spotify using the built-in Chromecast and do not need to use Bluetooth. I also like that using the SmartThings app allows you to have full control of the device, view all the settings and make changes where necessary including updating the firmware. It also works perfectly with Google Home. I am really glad I took a punt with this, £175 for a soundbar that is £300 elsewhere has paid off and I bought another one for the TV I have in another room because the audio quality alone is good enough to do away with my hi-fi system. As for connectivity, the HDMI works great with both my eARc and ARC TV, it has Bluetooth 5.3 and allows two devices to be connected simultaneously. The USB socket is for Firmware updates. No phono or line in which is not a problem for me because everything I use is connected to WiFi. It is worth noting that to connect to WiFi you need to use the Samsung SmartThings app. Overall really happy with price paid and device performance.

I wanted a white sound bar to match my decor and this was the best one for my budget. The sound is great for my needs, plugged into the HDMI ARC. Easy set up and good that you can view settings via smart things app. The subwoofer is decent,l, its placement will definitely impact how goodnit sounds. Overall this sound bar produces a great sound experience. Would defo recommend.

Amazing value for money. I have 3 other sound bars around the house that cost 3-4x the price when new. Yes they have extra features and are louder but this is a great system. Easy to connect the TV, Echo Show, phone etc and packs a punch (transforms the new 43” LG kitchen TV sound!). Love the size and white colour and very slim profile helps it blend in. Would I say the same if I paid the full RRP… probably, yes. But at the £160 here (or less) it’s a no brainer. Very solid build and simple remote add to the excellent package. One of those items you just didn’t expect to be so good for the price.

Great but, speaker very slim and powerful enough and subwoofer give an extra bass which can be adjustable . Easy to install . I’m very happy with this purchase
