Good for it's price
It's good for it's price, but requires a lot of space on the table.

I bought this to replace my older 4K monitor and this AOC monitor is a major improvement. I'm running it at full 4K resolution at 160 Hz without issues. The images and text are notable sharper than my older 4K monitor. Colors are both vivid and realistic at the same time - a perfect color synch and comes with a certified color test report. Looks great in HDR. No sych issues or tearing even running full 4K 60 frames per second vidoes. Features are pretty decent, not the highest level but really all one outside the highest end user would need and a good deal for the price paid. I haven't found any downsides or issues to even make note of. I'd call this a good 4K performance monitor value for the price.

This display is pretty amazing. There are plenty of other monitors available, but for this price ($350) I am not sure if you are able to find anything better. Pros: - Amazing color (after reducing red -5) - Very bright, HDR is spectacular - Pixel dimming makes black look like black (like OLED) - Smooth, no tearing, flickering or ghosting that I have noticed Cons: - Its heavy - It generates quite a bit of heat - Viewing angles are not good Would I still recommend this monitor? Yes, especially if you can get it for $350 CAD.

Honestly I'd say my review is closer to like 4.5/5 than 5/5 but I put it to 5* just because the price is so much more affordable compared to many other monitors while also having pretty top tier quality considering the lower cost. It was super easy to figure out and set up even considering this was the first monitor I bought and set up by myself. Only issue I had was that I never realized how tightly packed monitors are in their boxes!! Makes sense to keep them secure and in good condition during shipping but I struggled to get it out. Screen size is perfect for what I was looking for. Not too small but fits into a smaller space which is what I am currently working with. This monitor isn't meant to last a super long time for me, just until I can get a new space with more room which may be a year or two from now. So for the time being, it's the perfect size for what I need. If you're seeking more immersement, you may want to opt for something bigger. I think the resolution is great! Colors are very vibrant and my games look great. Since getting it I havent played anything too graphically intensive YET, because what I've been in the mood for hasn't been that intensive lately. But the game I have been playing like Where Winds Meet, for example, it looks beautiful. Overall, a very great monitor for the price. Granted, it's the first one I've chosen for myself but compared to my old one that my dad had let me borrow for awhile (he knows computers and electronics well and helped me build my PC and whatnot), it's very good if not a bit better and my dad had a decent inexpensive monitor (though I do forget the brand/specs for the comparison, sorry). If I have any complaint really, it's that the monitor is so thick that I can't effectively put my webcam on it. I wish it was thinner. The main reason I would make it 4.5/5 if I could. But for the lower cost and good quality for the price, the thicker monitor is doable, for sure! I recommend if you'd like a good monitor for a much more affordable cost.

One of the best displays on market. Work flawlessly

The picture quality on this monitor is incredible, and it is a great value for what you get. The display is near oled in terms of contrast with much lower burn-in risk. It does have some blooming, but its pretty negligible given the number of dimming zones. I only really notice it with white text on a black background. Additionally, this display is brighter than many oleds on the market, and I personally find the brightness more impactful than contrast in terms of display quality. I was a little concerned about possible smearing with VA panels, but I haven't perceived any with this one. I'm sure there are use cases where the smearing may be noticeable to users who are more sensitive to it, but I honestly haven't noticed anything. Unless you're a highly competitive fps gamer, I think the response time and motion clarity of this monitor is more than sufficient given the image quality you're getting from this display.
