I had to do something and I don't believe in declawing, so I decided to try claw caps and I'm so glad I did.As long as you can hold your cat they are easy to put on. I saw some people say the glue hurt their cats, all three of mine seem to have no reaction to the glue, but really there's no reason for the glue to get on your cat anyway, unless they wiggle a lot.They are really soft though, and one of my cats just bites the tip off most of them so he can still claw a little when he does that, but not nearly as bad as before. They don't seem to hinder the cats in anything, and they still go through the clawing motions so they do get to stretch and fulfill the urge, it just doesn't destroy everything I own in the process.Much cheaper here than from the pet stores. I don't consider my cats to be large, they're around 12 lbs but the large claw caps fit the best, so keep that in mind. For a week after we discovered our cat's nocturnal nuisance making we were fraught with worry. Percy is a part of our family and surely he is worth more to us than any piece of furniture, but we couldn't allow this marvelous piece of workmanship to continue to be assaulted nightly.
