I've had color changing lights for 15 yrs, usually the ones with thicker cords and bulbs on T base and they usually last a 2 to 3 yrs. It's a cool change from the others and the colors are more neon yet not as bright as neon. The only neg is at least 3 buttons on the color menu come up with the same purple but otherwise Im happy with them. UPDATE...seems we have red squirrels and yup, they loved the wire coverings. Spliced em back and put them up in the house (where they look great). Bought some with the thick, less tasty cords...fingers crossed.

I absolutely love the color selection and the various lighting modes available. However, I was slightly disappointed by the brightness level of the bulbs; they didn't illuminate my patio quite as much as I had hoped.
