Solid, Stable, Easy to Fold, and Worth the Upgrade
After receiving two damaged and flimsy workbenches from another brand, I decided to spend a little more and purchase the Keter Heavy-Duty Folding Workbench. The difference in quality was immediately noticeable. This workbench feels much more solid, stable, and dependable. The three supporting sections underneath provide excellent support, and the table does not feel weak or unstable when working on it. The included clamps are also much sturdier and better made than the ones that came with the previous workbench I tried. One of my favorite features is how easily it opens and collapses. It folds down quickly into a compact size, making it convenient to carry and store without taking up much room in my garage. The work surface feels durable, the overall construction is well designed, and it arrived properly packaged with no cracks or damage. It costs a little more than some cheaper alternatives, but the stronger construction, better clamps, easier setup, and compact storage make it well worth the price. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable workbench that actually feels sturdy and built to last.

Super sturdy, practical, and easy to set up!
Excellent workbench. It folds out and packs away in seconds, taking up very little storage space. Even though it's portable, it is surprisingly stable and holds a good amount of weight without wobbling. The included clamps work great for holding pieces securely while you work. It has been a game-changer for projects around the house and garage. Totally worth it!

Sturdier than I expected. My favorite stowable folding work table yet.
I'll start with the obvious: This is a very cheap folding work table. Expect the plastic molding to be imperfect. However, I just bought my second one of these and for someone who works on them occasionally, both have been far more functional than I expected for the price. The plastic molding issues are mostly cosmetic, a few stringy strands to pull off when I unpack them. The tolerance in the built-in clamp holders is pretty tight, the clamps are a bit difficult to pull out and put back in to their stowing slots. But, that's nothing. These tables are fantastic, despite the very minor issues above. Fix the above, and you're paying at LEAST 4x the price per table. These fold up into almost nothing. When not in use, they stow away in hardly more space than you'd use to hide a folding chair. They have handles on all sides, and they are light enough for someone who works on stuff to lift easily. The weight is easy to manage. I'm able to hold one of these tables at full arm's length, long enough to turn sideways and slide into a little slot against the wall next to a cabinet behind a desk. They are extremely portable. Taking them up and down stairs is easy, due to flexible handle options on all sides. Two hands, one hand, one in each hand, easy. They unfold instantly. If you don't need to hold a lot of weight, this table goes from suitcase form to functional table in about one second flat. If you need to hold weight, you do have to spend another 10 seconds or so making sure the supportive flaps are locked in. Once they are locked in, two reasonably fit people could dance on top of this table with zero concerns. I use one for my miter saw and once set up, never thought I was using a plastic table. The real kicker is, they also fold back up instantly. You just unlock the support flaps, hold by the correct handles, turn it upside down, and shake. All of the legs fold back up into place, maybe having to nudge one or two to get back to fully folded suitcase form. If I had bigger hands I could easily carry four of these, whereas just one KREG table is my limit. The action of the clamps isn't perfect but it's good enough for what you'd use this table for. The clamps are actually pretty smart, with both clamp parts moving independently on the bar. This lets you quickly expand the bottom of the jaw to make room, quickly slide the bottom of the jaw to meet your part, and squeeze the trigger a few times to lock in place without having a lot of clamp bar sticking out from the table. My only complaint is the holsters for stowing the clamps are too tight a fit, I have to use a trick to get them to fit back in once I'm done. (Release the upper jaw. Slide all the way up. Squeeze the handle just once. Slide the lower jaw to meet it, then it will fit.) I've bought two of these now. The second one is for use indoors, and came in handy to glue up 3D prints and wrap holiday gifts, each time taking less than half a minute to pull out and set up, and under half a minute to pack up and stow. A+.

Works as advertised, no assembly required
It's amazing how sturdy this thing is for being a super-portable compact folding-table. They say it is rated at 1000 Lbs capacity. Hmmm... I don't know about that... maybe if you stacked that amount of weight on it slowly, and made sure it was evenly distributed... it just might hold that much. I know I can sit on it and it doesn't wince. The unique (and patented) folding system provides several interlocked supports: two on the side, one in the center. Those fold into place and lock very easily. The main braces connect the upper and lower surfaces. Those, in turn, hold the aluminum legs in places quite rigidly. The net result is the entire table is VERY sturdy and remarkably stable too. Because the tubular legs are of fairly large diameter, the entire table is quite rigid... astoundingly rigid considering it's light-weight. The super-nifty cool-gizmo factor is in the way it instantly and automatically opens. Go look at YouTube videos. This thing really works like that! The clamps can fit into slots so they can be used as a pair, much like a bench vise. Or they can be slipped through the hand-sized holes to clamp vertically and hold boards DOWN to the surface. If you are familiar with the excellent Irwin Quik-Clamps, you'll instantly understand how these clamps operate. However, these clamps have an extra function: not only the feet move, but the clamp-heads move too. There are many times I have wished for that feature when using other clamps! These clamps are light to medium duty though. They are not as rigid or powerful as the heavy duty Irwin models. But they are fast and convenient, certainly strong enough for many DIY, home-repair and craft / shop project applications. What's delightful, besides the nifty way it unfolds, it how compact this is. When collapsed or "closed" it is only a few inches wide. That slim profile made me worry when I saw the box arrive, because I thought it was going to be another "some assembly required" nightmare. Nope... This comes FULLY ASSEMBLED, but in the closed position. You just open the box, remove the protective "warning" tape, read the brief clear illustrated instructions and Bam! It's open! I am a sucker for workshop gadgets. Over the decades, I can't tell you how many dozens of workbenches I have tried; all of them promising stuff they never fully delivered. The Skill multi-function bench had some neat ideas, but was made so cheaply it never worked well and didn't last long. I have tried rolling work-benches, tool-cabinets, clamping stations, workmates... you name it. All of them do a few things OK, but all of them were also cheap, inaccurate or difficult and flimsy. They all quickly found their way to garage sales. This is the FIRST TIME in my fifty-plus years of woodworking that any folding bench-table-clamping-center doohickey has EVER worked as advertised. Really. No exaggeration. Go find the videos. It opens just like that. Even on my first try it worked perfectly. You really can sit on it. The clamps actually lock in place and really do clamp with fair holding power. It folds up fast and takes little room. There are several hand-holds built in, so it is easy to move Up & Down stairs or through tight doorways. I often need to move to the basement or outdoors for DIY projects, so that compactness and those handles are a boon. It would fit in a smart car. I could fit four of these in my trunk. Eight of them would fit in the back seat of any normal sedan. You could easily slip several of these under a bed. Now, could it be improved? Yes, slightly. Instead of BLACK, which absorbs heat when working outdoors, a lighter color would be nice. When I use this outdoors in the blazing noonday sun, the surface gets HOT. A lighter color would alleviate some of that endothermic nuisance. That would also make stuff on the lower shelf easier to see. Black drywall screws tend to hide on dark surfaces. Some users may want heavier-duty clamps, but these clamps are well-matched to the sturdiness of the table. In other words, you won't be doing any heavy hand-tool work with this. It is quite rigid and sturdy and stable, but it wobbles a bit if you try to do hand-planing on it. Power sanding? No problem. My only regret is that I jumped at this low price too soon and did not realize there is another model with adjustable legs. This height is a trifle LOW for much of the work I do around the house. But it is a nice height for refinishing small projects, sanding, clamping, light hand-saw work and glue-ups. If you are TALL, then you might want the adjustable version at a slightly higher price. I think the only way you could find a more perfect design would be to make it yourself. Even though I have made MANY dozens of workbenches and cabinets, I could not make one for seventy-bucks that was any better. It would certainly be an engineering challenge to design one that folded up so compactly yet remained so sturdy when open. If you often need a little workbench with clamping options but are short on space with a low budget... I recommend this thing ( or its adjustable-height brother) highly.

One minor flaw (on this model for some users)
Overall this is a great little portable table. It's not a table that you have to set up, unless using the included clamps. To use the table, you simply push down on two tabs that are located on the top of the table--this releases the legs, and gravity does the rest. Then you can lock the legs in place. It's very easy and fast. As I mentioned, there are good quality clamps included with this table. They are stowed on the lower deck of the unit. These clamps are relatively easy to remove from stowage, and they slide into the t-track of the work surface for holding materials as pictured. The clamps can also be used outside of the t-track in a vertical position. While there are not as many holes as I would like in the worktop to use clamps in a vertical configuration, it's not a major issue. The included trigger clamps are good quality, and their inclusion adds a lot of value to this work table--especially considering the price. The two clamps stow in the unit in such a way that can they might be completely forgotten. The designer(s) secured these clamps so they do not come out accidentally. The only minor drawback to clamp stowage is that you might have to think about the configuration that the clamp has to be in to fit into the stowage channel. This will not be an issue if you use them all of the time, and it's not difficult to figure out. My only legitimate criticism of this workbench appears to be resolved in a different version of it. Unfortunately, this workbench is 29-3/4 inches high--a couple inches lower than standard 32 inches height. It makes the table top a bit lower than I would prefer, but that's minor given the convenience and value of this product. If you only use this workable by itself the height is irrelevant. I use multiple devices to steady work pieces, and the height difference means that I generally only use this product by itself. For some time, it annoyed me that an excellent product had such a strange flaw. I understand why it may have been part of the design constraints; longer legs for this product would mean a larger worktop because the legs are hinged to the bottom of the worktop. A larger worktop would probably not make for a considerable increase in cost of production, but product packaging and logistics. I was so very excited to see a (newer?) model of this workbench design with legs that extend! Well done Keter!!

A must have for the small workshop - + tip on storing included clamps.
My 'workshop' is half a garage so space is very limited. I wanted to have a work table I could feel confident building on and be able to fold up to store easily. The Keter Table hits those marks very well. It's not perfect, but at $70 its a great value. Pro's: The super quick set up and put away. Very low profile when folded - can stick it anywhere, even a closet if you don't have any space. Sturdy to use - I regularly stand on it to reach high objects and have no worries about it supporting me (~145 lbs). Lower 'shelves' that hold clamps is a nice spot to toss measuring tapes, pencils, small tools, etc. while working. Comes with two bar clamps - never can have too many but see Con's for more on them. Light enough that you can move it around when set up easily. Durable - the plastic top feels solid, the supports lock in place firmly, the handle feels solid despite other reviewers problems. Con's: The bar clamps are pretty terrible. The metal bar dents when clamping making the sliding of the clamp a bit rough. And the clamps don't slide all that well to begin with. The clamping action is fine however. Of note: The release on the clamps (one at either end) are stiff and the one on the trigger handle is completely different than most bar clamps. I keep forgetting that. And I struggle to get the clamp ends to start moving; its not super difficult but more of a frustrating struggle when my other quick grip bar clamps are a joy to work with. I think of them as a freebie with the table so I don't mind too much, but I only use them when I don't have enough other clamps that are easier to use. The table vibrates something fierce when using an orbital sander on it. Already a loud tool, it resonates even more on the table. Adding weight to the table (cinder blocks) knocks that down but isn't practical. I'm going to use some anti vibration rubber mats under the work piece and under the feet next time I sand on it and hope that helps enough. Same goes for other tools like jig saws. I don't think it can really hold 1000lbs. While I climb on it without a worry, I wouldn't want to put 10 of me on the table. The table does shimmy a little with weight on it, so a static load of much higher weight would probably be fine but I'd worry a little over the 600 lbs+ But, I'll never ever need that kind of weight on the bench so calling it a con is iffy. If you want to put a car engine on it, I wouldn't push on it too hard... So-so's: -- The Clamps -- The clamp slots work well with the included clamps but I find I never use them, since they clamp for side to side movement. Add to that that the clamps are kind of a bitch to use and I never want to use them. I always want to clamp pieces down onto the bench. You can clamp things down along the edges but the underside isn't solid across so you have to move the clamp around a bit to find a good spot. Putting the clamps back into the shelf in the table is tricky. The first time I went to put them back in the slots I couldn't figure out how to to fit them for the life of me. 20 min later I got them in. The trick is to have the trigger end just a touch forward of the back bar stop. This seems to fit the cut out better. Even still, it takes me a minute to get them right and the fit for the bar length is very tight. It holds them snugly as a result, but it would be great if it was a simpler 'snap in' system. ** If you've had trouble putting the clamps back in, mark this review helpful so others can struggle less. :) ** Between the clamp quality, the awkward release mechanism and sliding, the lack of use of the slots (for me), and the fiddly return to storage... I don't use them much. However, if you want to just grab the table, throw it in the car and drive somewhere to do a little on site work, knowing you have two clamps with you is a nice feature. Final Thoughts: I highly recommend the work table and plan on getting another one. It's sturdy and easy to store and a large enough size to work on for most projects. Side Note: I wish the toggle clamps on the adjustable version were still included. Those would be VERY useful. I'm considering getting t-tracks and installing them in the table surface. Then I could use something like POWERTEC 71083 5-1/2" L x 1-1/8" W Hold-Down Clamps and really expand the functionality of the table.

Best Folding Table on the Market!
This table is amazing. One move to set it up and then one move to put it away! Once it is set up, it is sturdy enough for whatever you need. I include it in every project!

Useful in so many situations
I seriously think this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It is so easy to set up, tear down, and carry. Sturdy, well made, and I use it a lot more often and in many more situations than I ever thought I would. It is so good, I have bought them as gifts for family member as well. If there is one thing I'd say could be improved, and it is only a very small complaint, when the table is folded up the legs sometimes flop out a little bit. If they came up with a way to keep the legs folded firmly in then this product would be perfect in my opinion.
