Great Dive Computer
Easy to read underwater. I found the user interface easy to use. The vibrating alert works well… I wasn’t paying attention during one dive when I felt the vibration from the low air alert. I am very happy with this computer. (68 year old user with 450 dives)

Excellent dive computer. Bright, clear screens.
I finally got to dive with this last weekend in the Gulf of Mexico. I’m very impressed with the ease of use. I’ve had others that you practically have to have a degree in computers to set up. The integrated air works great once you get it set up (that part is a bit tricky - hint, it’s not in the Bluetooth menu…lol). Excellent visibility too. I’m older (hate admitting that) and I can’t read fine print well. Shearwater did an excellent job making each screen very readable.

IMO the best rec diver computer out there
I've been diving since 1999 and I've been using my original Suunto Cobra computer for over 20 years...then I realized I've been using this critical piece of equipment for probably way too long, so I started looking for what's next. I wasn't sure how reliable a hoseless computer would be but I had those worries from decades ago when I bought my original computer. After doing research, it was clear that Shearwater computers are top notch and so many people praise the customer service. When they came out with the Peregrine TX, that sealed the deal for me because I wanted the air integration, I won't dive with anything that doesn't have it, its sooo nice knowing how much time you have given your air consumption. I also really liked the large screen over the watch version. Being in my 50s anything that makes it easier to see is a big plus. I also have many watches (that I never wear) and didn't want another one, especially one that I had to interact with to see the time vs just looking at my wrist. Anyway, I got a chance to finally use the Peregrine TX in St Lucia. It was very easy to read, I LOVED that it started counting down my safety stop and included seconds (the Cobra would just say 3, 2, 1 and I had no idea the second count this was something I didn't know I was missing). Buttons are very easy to press, navigation is simple (my Cobra I sometimes had to reference the manual, won't ever have to do that with the Peregrine TX). I'm also looking forward to night dives because I won't have to hold down a button every time I want the light to come on. Long battery life, easy to charge, etc. I can't think of anything I don't like. HIGHLY recommend. I live in CO and maybe get to go diving once a year when my wife and I are someplace tropical (she doesn't dive). I was a bit worried about spending serious money for something I don't do that often but I'm glad I did. Dives are more enjoyable and I have piece of mind with newer equipment from a rock solid company.

Outstanding dive computer for the cost. Easy to set predive, and easy to see under water.

Get the air integrated-do it!
I've always heard good things about Peregrine computers, and I finally "bit the bullet" and got one, replacing my very old Oceanic puck. It lives up to the hype; my eyes are not so good up close, so the larger screen I love. I wasn't sure if I really needed the air integration since I'm going to have a PSIG anyways. Really glad I spent the extra $, it is awesome. I am not a tech diver and don't use most of the higher-end features that it offers , but the compass is great, being able to customize the screen layout, just everything is very intuitive and easy to use, even with gloves on.
