Works great on windows 10
Did not work on windows 11, only works with windows 10. It worked flawlessly and did a fine job. ๐

Does not work
This does not work. And the instructions are so tiny you can barely read them. I tried everything to get this to work, went on Youtube for inspectional video and could not get this to transfer my videos. I then purchased the Startech USB video capture Cable #SVID2USB232 and it worked great, so easy.

Impressed
I was not expecting much with this, considering the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. This worked quite well with free software. The purpose for purchasing this was to convert a bunch of old VHS tapes to a digital format. The hardware functioned perfectly, it was more of a learning experience figuring out the correct settings in the software I used (OBS Studio). I would recommend this to anyone trying to convert old physical formats to a portable digital one.

Does what it was supposed to do
Bought to digitize old home movies. Got them all digitized and handed out to my kids. The device worked flawlessly, no recording issues, no dropped frames, no or of sync soundtrack. Video came out as good as the original. Easy to use, just had to get the right software

Cheap Cord but worked
I bought this to transfer a VHS tape to digital. It took me a long time to figure out that the AV cord connecting to the unit was really loose. I had to connect, reconnect, and reconnect several times and wiggle around the jack, but I finally got it to work. Once I figured that out, it worked flawlessly. I recorded the VHS tape on a Mac computer. I would recommend that a nicer cord be included, but it works.

Poor Product
Works... kinda. Poor instructions and poor quality construction (connectors short easily and included cables are very poorly made). Much better options out there. This unit is not recommended.

Does not work with MAC!
This unit works fine with a Windows PC. But is not recognized by MAC OS. If you are working on a MAC look elsewhere for a solution. Gave it 3 Stars because it works fine with PC running Windows 10.
