Second time purchasing this product. This carpet protector works great! It keeps my cat from scratching near the door and protects the carpet perfectly. The plastic is thick yet easy to cut to size. Works great. The new kitty can scratch at the carpet by the bedroom door all she wants, she can't get to it now! It's tough but doable to cut this with regular scissors.

Kitties were scratching under the door just destroying the new carpet. This took care of that. If you cut as well as the advertisement team did you should probably order a bunch and install as a side job...my cuts were terrible but still works fine.
