The product is good but it came folded and I didn’t like this.

Its closed cell egg crate foam with a layer of butyl underneath. The foam is a bit delicate in the sense that its tears fairly easily. I attached this to the inside of the roof of my vehicle to sit behind a pair of speakers built into the headliner. It hasn't fallen down after a few weeks, so the adhesive seems sufficiently sticky, but like any sticky-back stuff, the attachment surface needs to be cleaned with alcohol or some other degreaser that leaves no residue.

This is a must for car audio, I added this with another sound dampening in doors right behind speakers, yes it’s a bit pricey but worth it very good quality, the foam feels almost gel like, not like normal porous foam.

This product worked wonders! I used it to reduce the sound of an overhead speaker, and the difference was remarkable. Please consider offering this product in white.
