Fat Cat Art: Famous Masterpieces Improved by a Ginger Cat with Attitude

I learned about Fat Cat Art while sat in a dentists waiting room of all places. Initially I found the concept quirky, engaging enough to seek out their website. The creations are brilliant. I found the cat’s expressions so realistic and funny, that day was spent sharing my new ‘find’ with some of my likeminded friends. It’s hilarious. But, from the artistic point of view - the lady who’s created these masterpieces is very talented. If you look at how well she’s bleded in with the style and time of each masterpiece, she’s made the cat look believable in that painting. I’ll be getting a print from Russia, it’s going to be a conversation piece for sure. The book is fantastic, it’s funny, but also informative about each individual original art work. Great quality. Full of the amazing pictures. It’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before, really great.

I love this book. It is very clever the way a (very ) large ginger cat becomes the main protagonist in these famous paintings. Very funny, quite silly and cheers you up on a grey day. Well presented with good photography.

A fantastic read with superb pictures! So original and thought provoking. Strongly recommended for anyone who loves Art or Cats or both. A really quirky find for a gift, would put a smile on anyone's face.

So beautifully done that I even bought a poster from Russia to put in a glorious baroque frame (tongue-in-cheek of course). Her eye for the old masters is so astonishing that her gloriously ample ginger cat looks as if he has been painted by the artist himself.

this was nice although would have loved it to have more van gogh...loved the kitty...am thinking of cutting it up and framing some of the pictures...

I find it easier flipping through the pages than going through the website. And it's just so nice to have it so accessible from the coffee table or bedside night table.
