Nice keyboard and well worth it.
I did enjoys this as my first keyboard while learning piano. Itโs a good size and portable for a 76 key piano. Itโs has many voices and the key action is really not bad in my novice opinion. The sound is great and all in all a really nice keyboard. My piano teacher remarked โ this is a really nice keyboardโ. I had a lot of fun with this keyboard and it was light enough to transport to class every week as well as play on battery power on my porch or deck or anywhere really. I eventually traded it in at guitar center for a Roland fp30x because I was/am much more now into an 88 key โpianoโ with weighted keys and all that. But in all honesty this keyboard would serve me well for far longer into my piano journey. So yes, I do think this is a great keyboard and you will have great fun making music with it. It is so much fun to play around wall the different sounds also, my Roland is more like just piano and much more limited in how many voices (instruments) it can mimic. By the way I traded it in at guitar center for about half of what I paid for it on Amazon, which was pretty reasonable to begin with. Considering the fun and experience I had with it. It was we worth it and I really could be still playing and learning with it if I didnโt upgrade.

Very nice.
This keyboard is much more versatile than my fingers as it turns out, so I have some catching up to do. Sounds good to my ears. Easy to learn functions. Light weight. A good beginner's to intermediate keyboard.

THERE'S NO ADAPTER
This is a wonderful keyboard. I bought it for my grandson who wants to learn how to play. It has 100's of different instruments programmed in and they all sound great. It's also very portable. I purchased a carry case for it. I read the reviews before I purchased it and thankfully a few mentioned even though it says it comes with an adapter it does NOT!! So make sure and order an adapter or you'll be very disappointed because you won't be able to enjoy your keyboard right away.

Great Purchase
For the money, this is a great keyboard. I'm not a professional, but have played the piano for over 70 years. My Baldwin is no longer available and I needed something I could play the "outside" world couldn't hear. The touch is adjustable and key reaction feels good. The keys react to my touch-if I want louder I play harder. I haven't explored all the options but seems easy to program and use. I'm glad I got the 76 key model. It isn't something you give much thought to after playing a full piano keyboard, but you'd be surprised how much of the keyboard you do use!! Also, I bought a Yamaha sustain pedal and it is GREAT. The only suggestion I have is the plugin for the headset should be in front, otherwise you are going over the keyboard or around and it has a tendency to get caught under the keyboard. If you're not using a stand, measure the height of the table (or whatever you are using) and add the height measurement of the instrument and adjust for your comfortable playing height. I bought a booster seat to accommodate for the playing comfort. Easier on my arms, wrists and shoulders. The sound is wonderful. I would recommend this product. Good for a beginner, but great for those of us who have experience and play for our own enjoyment.

A good keyboard
This keyboard is relatively lightweight and compact; however, even though their keys are touch-sensitive, they still retain the distinct feel of an electronic instrument. Since the physical mechanics of pressing the keys differ from those of a piano, playing one results in a distinct tactile experience. While this makes for an excellent product for recreational use, it cannot serve as a substitute for a piano.

An awesome keyboard for the beginner!
My wife has expressed an interest in learning how to play the piano/keyboard. For Christmas, I thought i'd surprise her with a nice Yamaha keyboard. After reading reviews on Amazon and other musical instrument stores, I decided on this particular keyboard. For a beginner, it has worked out great. My wife is taking steps to get instructions on playing the piano and of course, learning all of the nuances/features that this keyboard has to offer. She's "in love" with her new Yamaha keyboard. I follow the old adage "Happy wife, happy life!" PROS: Yamaha quality, a LOT of built in features, easy to set up, easy to use CONS: None noted at this time

First Impressions
This is my first keyboard and I don't know much on how to play a piano. So this will be just from a beginners perspective. After looking at a large number of reviews of lots of keyboards and price ranges, I decided on this one. The price and features fit well in this price range. I pulled it out of the box and it is very lightweight. A bit plasticky. I was expecting that but was hoping that I would be surprised. I wasn't. The speakers are just okay in my opinion. Definitely not bad at this price. But after plugging in my Sony headphones, the tones sound really good. Better than what I was expecting. Keys feel a bit slippery but so far, I haven't found that to be an issue so far. I didn't see it in the description, but my keyboard did come with a sustain pedal. I wasn't expecting that so I had bought another one. There is no bluetooth connectivity to pipe in sounds. So you will have to use the AUX in jack in the back for that. This should become standard now days. I have only had this for a few days now so I can't really comment on the features at this time. I am just simply trying to learn piano basics right now. But I believe that this should have no problem serving any beginner piano player with good results. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to seriously try and learn how to play. I don't know if I'll ever be able to play it, but going to give it a serious try at it. Don't buy the $100 keyboards if you are seriously want to play. They don't sound nearly as good as this. I had my mind set on the Roland GO:Keys 3 before I found this one. This one sounds almost as good and I do mean ALMOST. And having the extra keys is a bonus.
