My optometrist carries this line of eye care products. I use the gentle cleansing gel every day on my eyelids and my face. This makeup remover was something the doctor recommended for removing eye makeup. It works on mascara removal, which can be difficult to achieve while also not over-drying sensitive eyelid skin. I use organic cotton rounds and the Optase makeup remover and gently wipe the eyelid area until the mascara breaks down and I can wipe it away. The ingredients are effective, yet feel soothing to the skin. They're not drying. It's an easy process, without extra steps required. There is no discernable fragrance. One bottle lasts months for me. Removing mascara used to be a big chore. With this gentle liquid, it's a much easier step to skin care at the end of the day.

I'm always suspect of products that seem too good to be true, but this one actually does exactly as advertised. And it does so without leaving your eye area greasy/oily or irritated. I've actually used it on my face after using another product to remove cosmetics and yep, this product found residue the other left behind. If you try it, I'm thinking you will do as I have done...keep it in reach for routine eye makeup removal.

Very gentle but efficient, I wear eye makeup every day, so been trying out different eye makeup removers that are organic, gentle and efficient and this one works very well!

I don’t write reviews, but I’m so thankful for this eye makeup remover that I had to! A few months ago, I developed an allergy to my eye make up/remover. Anytime I wore eye make up and used my remover the next morning I would wake up with eyes that looked like pink eye (both red and gunky) and would have to get antibiotic drops to heal them. It happened to me like 4 times bc I kept thinking it would get better. My eye dr told me I needed to find clean ingredient products to try to see if my eyes could handle them. After much research for basically the cleanest eye makeup remover for allergy prone and super sensitive eyes, this is the eye makeup remover that kept coming up. I was scared to try it bc of the reactions I had had prior. But I’m so happy I did. I feel like this gave me some life back along with the clean mascara I found. So if you have really sensitive allergy prone eyes this may be for you. Thankful!

I love this product and have been using it for about two years now, it works very well for removing makeup and is gentle on the skin. Even though it’s for eyes I usually use it on my full face. Detracting a star because the packaging inside the Amazon box looked beat up and there are marks on the bottle that make it look less than new (see photos).

Wonderful for sensitive eyes. A little too pricey for the size, but causes no irritation and leaves behind no residue.

So gentle...a great formula for eyes that are sensitive. Glad I found this and wish it came in larger sizes.

I was generous in giving this 2 stars. I suppose it’s gentle on eyes but is essentially ionized water and requires a lot of rubbing to remove mascara which is not something I want to do on delicate eye tissue. I much prefer the LaRoche-Posay cleanser to remove my eye makeup.
