Elegance Ice Tong, Gold

Although the tongs were wrapped in tissue and still in the box, they were tarnished. I was able to polish them, but they were unsightly when I first opened the box.

Let us get the obvious out of the way, I chose twosome instead of pair for alliteration purposes in the headline of this review. There are not two pairs included, a twosome can mean a pair, and a pair of tongs is one object. Anyways, these tongs are perfect, I have been looking to add a pair of sugar lump tongs to my personal absinthe set, and now I have finally gotten around to ordering them, I used them when preparing myself an absinthe-drip for a nightcap, { just a scant hour before writing this particular review, no less} , and they worked perfectly. They are just the right size, they pick up the sugar lumps I use { standard grocer sizes and types, sometimes plain white sugar, sometimes demerara sugar lumps } , the work well, and they don't crush the sugar lump, nor drop it unexpectedly where you don't want it. The design is simple, and the little bit of ornamentation and decoration is just the right amount to be pleasing, while not taking a penny away from the items functionality. It looks very nice with my absinthe set, and I am very much pleased not only with its form, but its function as well.

The sugar tongs have a lovely finish and are sturdy.

Attractive and affordable

Lovely little appetizer tongs! They're hardly a fine piece of silver, but You get what you pay for. There are certainly adequate for An elegant serving piece at any party . They are a bit overpriced but There's nothing else out there of this quality in a reasonable price range. I will no doubt order another pair!

brass/gold coating comes off after about a month of usage, then begins to rust from the metal underneath

Great choice for what I needed. Be sure to check the size of them because I ordered several and they ranged from 6 inches to 14 inches which were way too big for table serving utensil. Overall quality is good and good value.

I have looked ALL over my area for this type of serving tool. I love them. Reorderd 2 more!

(Very small, definitely for sugar cubes only)This was part of my first review and since I am very fair person I decided to edit/change my first review. After using this little sugar tong a few times I realized that it actually adds some sort of elegance to my tea time. My family is pleased with it so I decided to go ahead and purchase another one. Quality is also good.

It made a great gift for my daughter in law as she likes to host afternoon tea!!

They work as well..as they are pleasing to the eye!!

it seems a good quality but they are really small. maybe its my mistake i did not realize the size of them. And very slow delivery.

So shiny, the perfect size and nice and durable. I was worried about them looking cheap - but they totally don't and completely go with my expensive silver tea set!
