DVD Player
Great portable DVD player. Works really well at work for me. It as played all my DVDs so far. I haven't tried playing a blue-ray disc yet. Fairly cheap aaand god quality, worth the purchase.

Good Value for a Portable DVD/CD Player
I bought this for a neighbor that cannot watch DVD movies and look at CDs. So far they said it's working fine and the picture looks good, they said the sound could be better but now they can at least watch a movie. For me giving this as a gift - it was a good value - and their daughter can watch movies when on road trips!

Play music at night...
I have music on a memory stick that I like to listen to at night. This works so well. I love the remote control which works all the way across the room. Sound is great. It can serve multiple purposes.

Perfect for travel.
This was perfect for yurt camping. Unfortunately I have trained my body to fall asleep to TV every night and this was perfect at night. It's got good sound and a decent little screen. It's light weight and holds a good charge. Bonus was we could play music in our yurt when we played games. We were able to stay plugged into electricity the entire time, but it holds a 5 hour charge.

You get what you pay for
I hope you're not looking at buying this and expecting it to be the best portable DVD player on the market. It's the CHEAPEST player on the market. The image looks pretty good, though you probably need to play with the TV aspect ratio and it still might not be right on every movie. My kids don't mind much. The sound is pretty good, though doesn't get particularly loud. The charge light is on the front, inside a window, which is a little weird. The headphone port actively ejects the headphone plug, but the AV Out stays in so I'm using that to run sound to my vehicle aux input. We have a long road trip ahead of us, and if it gets us through the long hours it can keep its 4 stars. If it breaks I'll update it to less.
