Eiko 15527 - F15T8/BLB - 15 Watt T8 Fluorescent Blacklight Blue, 18" Length

I needed this exact specific bulb for my blacklight lamp (the bulb in mine has been broke for at least four years now). I used to love that thing and instead of spending $25+ in the mall on a new blacklight and lamp I bought this bulb on amazon. Shipped in a couple days and worked right out of the box. No noise, no flickering, and good quality bulb that lights up my room wonderfully. I can't wait to use it the next time I have some female company over ;)

Have not used them yet. I was going to put them in my light hoods for my aquarium but they were too dim.

This throws a decent amount of black light but I plan on getting a 2nd one to light up most of our front porch for Halloween. For reviewers who say that something was rattling inside when they got it, or the filament was broken, I'll say it is pretty normal to hear something loose inside. I have seen this many times in changing out fluorescent bulbs but they still work. My black light came with a loose particle but worked fine. These bulbs don't use delicate filaments they have electrodes at either end that are not prone to breaking or burning out like an incandescent. But my final thought on this product is the price could be a little lower, so I rated 4 stars.

i use this item almost everyday and the effects of it are just alright alone it will not even lightup a small chill room,but its an alright item

I bought this to replace the stock bulb that came with my lamp. The packaging was a little tough to open but it's more important that it arrived in good shape. Upon getting the packaging off, I could hear something rattling around inside it. I feared the worst. However, the light has been working fine. It seems brighter than the one before it.
