Somewhat, considering that it was only made of a thick sewing thread. Easy to use? Somewhat, snagged on everything. DO NOT BUY THIS TO KEEP BIRDS OUT. THE BIRDS GET STUCK IN THE HOLES!!! Very disappointing. We put the net up in the evening. The next morning we watched the net to see how it worked. When the birds came to feed on the blueberry bushes, they landed on the net, Stuck their heads through a hole, and proceeded to get their wings and feet tangled. They were hanging upside down squawking and fluttering everywhere. Within minutes there were 10-15 birds stuck. Half of them managed to free themselves. There were seven birds that we had to untangle and cut out from the net. Would they have learned not to do it again? Probably not. We ripped the net down, threw it in the trash, and are out $80. Bought new half inch netting. It is more durable as it’s made of nylon or plastic or something of that nature, snags less, and the birds definitely cannot fit through the half inch gaps.
