Did some research and found this pad. This pad is thick, appears to be verry durable and very easy to install. We smoothed out the sand and laid this over it. Very easy for one person but my wife helped me. I have a 12' round pool and I have 2"-4" of this showing around the whole pool. The posts are all sitting on the liner as well. I will definitely use it every year and feel much more comfortable about no holed in the bottom of the pool.
