Gets tiring to keep pulling back

Cheap plastic piece of junk. Safety broke off after firing 1 shot.

Definitely as described in description. Very realistic so wouldn’t allow a young man to use without parental supervision. My nephew loves his, however, he fully understands the rules implemented and how it could be mistaken for a real gun.

We knew before a few points before purchasing it. It is 95% plastic and it feels like it. We even expected the low FPS. We also knew it has fixed non-adjustable sights, so neither did old west 6 shootes. The POSITIVE option or high light is it can be DRY FIRED, without being racked and loaded. The total surprise was how smooth my trigger was. The trigger even has a low lbs of 3lbs and 6-10 ounce. I used my Wheeler trigger pull a dozen to get an accurate estimate. Grest practice 1911 platform. Oh and read the location of the safety and the slide removal switch to just a cross pin that DOESN'T slide down. I didn't read directions so this cross pin failure is 100% my fault, I just replaced it with a correct sized nut, washer and bolt. 100% repaired

This little spring operated bb pistol is fantastic. It works every time although cocking is a bit tough. It packs a punch and I believe it would be capable of dispatching a small rodent.

It felt good to have something in my hand the size of a Desert Eagle, but it soon because worry to hold it around any angle. The holder at the bottom of the pistol that prevents the slider from shooting off KEPT COMING OFF. If you were to hold it at any angle besides 0, the parts would come off and the top of the pistol with shoot off with the next shot. I'm still giving it 3 because it was a good felt product; I just hold they fix that mechanism issue.

A must keep weapon

Umarex should be ashamed to produce, and distribute, this springer. I've been airgunning for years now. Having CO2, PCP and BreakBarrel rifles and pistols and the DSX45, in my opinion, is junk. Even for the price. Yes it's cheap but, for UMAREX, this is rock bottom. First, it's difficult to cock. Second, sometimes it clocks other times it doesn't. Third, the drop out magazine, like the rest if the gun, is very cheaply made. Drop it, it's going to break. I lubricated everything and still it won't cook properly. Plus, there not supposed to be, but BB's are rattling around inside. I'll have to take it apart to get them out. If you're interested in a spring powered airgun buy the DX17 by UMAREX. It is better built, easier to operate and it will fire pellets or BB's. Comparing the two, the DX17 is inexpensive and, when cocked, fires every time.
