Comes in a slew of little bags. Instructions not always 100% clear, but nothing I would call a show-stopper. My 8-year old put this together with me next to him serving in a consulting role - subject matter expert.Your kid isn't going to run around playing cops and robbers with this once assembled though. Obviously 50AE is too large a caliber for either role (would suggest 40 cal. or 9MM Luger for that), but more importantly, the gun is just a little too fragile once assembled.
