This was an amazing product worked really well. It went really high was very awesome. And worked we lost multiple times, but Unfortunately, Mine did get stuck in a tree, so be careful when you’re using it make sure to stay away from trees because mine never came down. This was my son’s favorite Christmas gift! The box say it’s for ages 14 and up. He is almost 10 years old and I feel like it’s safe for him and he can operate it himself just fine. It was an amazing value for the enjoyment we’ve gotten out of it. He can send it up again and again and we’ve not had issues with the battery running low before he’s ready to stop playing with it. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. They say the battery is good for 40 launches but we have only sent it up maybe 15 times in a day. I love that it has two settings for launch height. You can send it up high or *really* high. It has a pretty parachute that’s brightly colored and easy to see. You do need to be careful that you don’t launch it when the wind is blowing since the wind can carry it pretty far. A slight breeze did cause it to go into the branches of a maple tree in our yard one time and it took some patience but we finally got it to come down and the parachute was just fine so I feel like it’s a durable rocket. The parachute doesn’t always open up fully (maybe it’s tangled in the strings) so sometimes it comes falling to the ground a little forcefully but it’s always done fine with the impact. To launch it, you turn the rocket on and press the launch button twice. It starts spinning and gives ample time for everyone to back away before takeoff. It charges pretty quickly and has a red indicator light that comes on when charging and turns off when fully charged. I would totally recommend this product and am so glad I gave it to my son!

Gave these to my nephews for Christmas and they absolutely loved them. For what they cost and all they were very impressive. Easily launched 100+ feet multiple times on a single charge. They light up at night so shooting them in the dark was really cool. Easy to use, almost ready to launch right out of the box. They seem pretty durable for a kid friendly rocket.

Pros: (This is a great toy, especially for the money - exceeded my expectations) There's no exaggeration in the description regarding the height these things reach - I'd say at least 100ft with a single button press and at least 200-300ft with a double button press. Both modes give ample time for kids of any age to back up far enough, without being dangerous if they only retreat a foot or two. The rocket is very lightweight and while the motor spins fast, it has extremely low torque and doesn't cause injury if touched while winding up (I tested this on myself before allowing my kids to play with it). There's an internal mechanism that ensures parachute deployment every time and isn't complicated to re-pack - you can pretty much just stuff it back in without care and it'll deploy. Cons: Its extreme light weight (Made mostly from a durable Styrofoam) which makes it quite vulnerable to wind. We used a field approximately 200 yards by 300 yards, setting up on the edge of the field to account for drift. Wind was approximately 10mph gusting, and on the 2-press setting, it got blown into an adjacent neighborhood - fortunately we recovered it! However, if it lands on a house, vehicle or in an odd case, a person, it won't cause any damage or injury. Partial fix for the con: Set it up inside a box (We just used a plastic tote) with no top. As it initiates flight in a sterile environment, the wind drift is significantly less. The box also provides a flat surface for the base). This isn't a durable toy for play outside of it's intended use, but I don't foresee it breaking with regular or even frequent use. Construction is similar to most kid-grade (Sub-$50) Amazon drones, but has been more durable than any of those drones I've purchased in the past.

One of the best toys we have ever purchased. Fun guaranteed…just make sure you launch in a wide area with no possibility of it landing in hard-to-reach spaces because it literally skyrockets.
