My dermatologist recommended this because I have pretty sensitive skin, prone to turning red, getting dry, and creating patchy, itchy areas. It's meant to be used right after you shower, and because it's best to apply all-over, it might add a few minutes to your routine. I'm not sure why the image here shows a lotion-like white cream; despite the name "Clearlotion" is actually a mineral oil-based product, completely clear and more liquid than solid. Despite containing oils, it sinks into the skin pretty deeply, and you're supposed to "buff" using a dry towel when you're done applying it, so it's not like it'll stick to your clothing or leave you with a greasy feeling. The idea is that Thereplex Clearlotion helps keep your body's existing moisturizer IN, rather than letting it out in those precious moments after you bathe, making your skin dry and itchy; this is useful after a shower, especially if you like long, hot showers that can really dry out your skin. I'm not a fan of the flip-top bottle that's part of the new design; I liked the squeeze bottle with a twist-off top instead, because it didn't seem to drip everywhere as much, and I could apply it to places like my back with ease. Still, you get about a month's supply in a bottle, depending on your size, how often you shower, and how dry your skin is. I've found it's best to apply the Clearlotion directly to your skin and then rub it in, rather than trying to get an adequate amount in your hand, only to have it drip all over or get absorbed into your hand before you can apply it where you want.

The item arrived on time and in proper packaging so there was no leaking from the bottle. I have used this product before and it still performs well with no allergic reaction.

So this bottle has a hole at the top, but the lid isn’t the right one to allow the flow of the lotion. The openings are not lined up correctly, so I have to take the lid off to use it. But the lotion is great.

Using Theraplex for over 25 years. Love that it lightly moisturizes my skin without heavy, oily residues! I'm incredibly hot-natured and, for years, I refused to apply lotion in the summertime until I discovered Theraplex's "Clear Lotion" which keeps my skin moist and healthy - all 4 seasons, long! Ultimately, its preventing that vicious cycle of "dry to extremely dry to oily to extremely oily" - a cycle that can take years to break! A WIN / WIN!!
