It may be wonderful for high odd chain fatty acids but it stunk so bad I had to basically rewash it. I make my own beef tallow and wash it at least twice, once with vinegar in the water. I washed this with vinegar in the water and also threw in some herbs. I’m adding essential oils in my finished product so it should be okay. I would have given it 5 stars had it not smelled so bad! For anyone who wanted to wash this for skin use just put it in a pan with water and a little vinegar let it simmer. Then cool. Then refrigerate until the tallow floating on top the water is hard. Take your hardened tallow off the top.
