I bought this dock for my Steam Deck so I could keep it on my desk connected to a gaming monitor, while also having a convenient place to drop it in and charge when it’s not in use. I’ve had a few UGREEN products before and have always found the build quality to be very good, so I hoped this would be a solid option at a lower price than the official dock. Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint. The dock looks great and feels sturdy, with a nice solid construction rather than cheap, flimsy plastic. It fits nicely into my desk setup and looks quite sleek. Setup was very straightforward. I used an HDMI cable I already owned to connect it to my monitor and it worked immediately. The dock charges the Steam Deck well and I’ve had no connection issues when using it. The Deck sits nicely in the dock and the overall design works well for a desk setup. When not in use, the stand folds down into a neat rectangular shape, which helps keep the desk looking tidy. It’s also quite versatile as the attached USB-C cable means it could easily be used as a charging dock for phones or other USB-C devices as well. Considering this costs roughly half the price of the official Steam Deck dock, I think it’s a great budget alternative that still feels well-made and reliable.

This dock is a fantastic accessory for the Lenovo Legion Go. The build quality feels solid, and the range of ports (HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, Ethernet, etc.) makes it incredibly versatile. It handles 4K output smoothly and charges the Deck reliably while in use. Compact design means it doesn’t take up much space, and setup is plug-and-play. The only minor downside is that the cable could be a bit longer, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, an excellent docking solution that’s well worth the price.

I am incredibly impressed with this UGREEN 6-in-1 dock. It costs half the price of the original Steam dock and yet looks far more expensive with its sleek design. Having the ability to link my Steam Deck to a TV while travelling is a complete game changer! It’s reliable, compact, and just works. If you are on the fence, skip the official one and buy this instead. Highly recommended.

bought this for my steamdeck (and ipad) and it works great. to allow it to charge while playing, plug your steamdeck charger into a plug socket then connect it to the charging usb-c port on the dock. the small cable provided is for the display port (and your steamdeck). setting up is simple and intuitive. for the money, it's amazing and is almost better than the official docking station given its versatility. as for charging speed, it's great and does its job. the display it puts on my tv is great, no issues there. the design of the dock itself doesn't block the fans of the steamdeck and it fitted with silicone grips to keep everything in place.

It has 4 small rubber feet on the stand and even on a shelf the stand slides so I’ve had order better rubber grips. The built quality of the dock is nice, very metal and solid and it works great. I set my steam deck up as a desktop as I don’t use it much as a handheld as it’s too heavy on my wrists. I was able to attach a Logitech keyboard/ mouse combo, set it to desktop mode, installed a browser and other Linux software and it’s a good little desktop. It took a while to figure out how to turn off the steam decks display but it’s great as a desktop using this dock and it has many ports even a Ethernet

Does not work as described. The description says this can do 4K@120Hz with VRR & FreeSync with the Steamdeck. The best I can get out of it without display errors is 1080p 60hz with VRR (freesync) enabled. With VRR off all resolutions seem to work except 4k 120hz, which also has display errors. I know my tv and 2.1 hdmi cable can handle of this just fine. The dock just can’t process these display outputs properly. It can’t even do 1080p 120hz with VRR! Not recommended.

This dock works equally well with my Steam Deck and my Nintendo Switch, bringing both machines to my 85" TV and giving me endless hours of gaming. The quality is obviously variable on the Steam Deck, but that's due to the varying games and settings; if you get them right, it looks great. This was a great purchase, and I'm very glad of it. The whole thing is made of metal, and it feels extremely sturdy and has enough connections to accommodate anything I might want from it. I also connected a NACOM dongle for a remote game pad, and it worked instantly. Great stuff!

J'utilise ce dock UGREEN depuis une dizaine de jours avec mon setup portable, et ce qui me frappe, c'est la stabilité. J'ai branché mon écran 4K, mon clavier, ma souris, un disque dur externe et le câble Ethernet, et tout roule sans aucun lag. Ce que j'apprécie vraiment : La qualité de fabrication : Le boîtier est en aluminium brossé, ce qui est non seulement joli, mais ça aide surtout à évacuer la chaleur. Même avec plusieurs périphériques branchés, il reste tiède, jamais brûlant. Le port Ethernet : C'est devenu rare sur les hubs, mais celui-là est super performant. J'ai retrouvé ma fibre à 1 Gbps sans perte, ce qui change la vie par rapport au Wi-Fi instable. C'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. UGREEN confirme encore une fois qu'ils sont sérieux sur les accessoires. Si vous voulez transformer votre ordi portable/Steam Deck/ROG Ally en vrai PC de bureau en un seul branchement, c'est l'outil parfait.

Really great performance. I have connected my Asus ROG Ally X to this Dock. Performance wise really great. I could connect Wired LAN to get full speed of my internet connection (500MBPS), connection to my 4K TV was seamless & no frame rate issues. By the way, I have used Ugreen LAN cable, HDMI cable too. Overall it was very satisfactory purchase.

Excellent and affordable dock for Steam Deck - OLED in my case, but works with the OG model, too - as well as other handheld gaming devices and tablets. Check the compatibility specification to be 100% sure before purchase. The device itself is nicely built - brushed aluminum, feels premium. Plenty of connection options (USB-A & USB-C), I tested it with an INIU 100W power adapter for Power Delivery, Certified UHD HDMI cable & 1Gbps LAN. Everything works out of the box with minimum tinkering required - HDR included. Be sure to set the “Maximum in-game resolution” in the Deck’s options if you want full/native display on your 4K - otherwise you can lower it and have the TV do upscaling for you. Final note for Steam Deck users - even though this dock is HDMI 2.1 (supports 4K/120Hz), unfortunately Linux doesn’t support 4K/120Hz in full spec yet on the Deck/SteamOS so you’ll be capped at 4K/60Hz - which is fine for Steam Deck anyway given it’s overall specs.
