Update: After five months, I’ve experienced frequent disconnections from the main network to the satellite even when connected via a wired backhaul. Resetting the device doesn’t help either. If I’m on a call and move between access points, my call either drops or stutters and then drops. This behaviour didn’t occur initially, so I won’t recommend this product. Too expensive and very restrictive and now unreliable. Original review: I’ve used Orbi 970 for a few days and these are my thoughts on the system. First, the system defaults to the UK region, which is greyed out, and you cannot change it to the UAE (or other regions). Additionally, you can’t select or modify the 6GHz band settings, which might be frustrating for users looking for more control over their network. Regarding Multi-Link Operation (MLO), it appears to primarily be used for backhauling. Since I have both the main unit and satellite connected via Ethernet, I’m uncertain if MLO benefits client devices in any meaningful way. While the system generally performs well, these restrictions on region settings, 6GHz customization, and unclear MLO functionality for clients could be improved to better suit advanced users.

After using it for a few months, orbis are extremely unstable, there are routers and wifi mesh networks for a fraction of the price that perform better - this is a complete waste of money and extremely horrible wifi mesh - stay away at all costs, look elsewhere. A huge waste of money - shocking how poor the performance is for such a high cost product

This does not work at all my internet constantly drops wherever I am in the house. I contacted Netgear to help and they tried to fix but they couldn't. Even though it was faulty from the day I bought the product they refuse to send me replacement. This was the biggest waste of money I ever have done I have to go buy something else now. Completely waste of time, effort, and money. Also the warranty that Netgear promises is garbage they refused to replace or fix my product.

Einfache Einrichtung und super stabiles Mesh-System. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen. Nicht gerade billig, aber das ist das Geld absolut wert.

Le NETGEAR Orbi 970 est le meilleur système WiFi que j’ai testé. Sa technologie Quad-band WiFi 7 offre une portée et un débit exceptionnels dans toute la maison. Contrairement à mon ancien système où j’avais besoin de 5 satellites pour une couverture moyenne, ici deux suffisent largement. Le débit reste très élevé même à distance, sans coupures ni ralentissements. L’installation est simple et la gestion via l’application est fluide. C’est un produit haut de gamme, mais il vaut clairement son prix. Et au niveau de la vitesse du wifi j'atteignais péniblement les 800Mb avant avec mon autre système branché à ma Freebox ultra et maintenant il n'y a qu'a regarder le résultat du speedtest que j'ai fait avec le Orbi !

I had a 5 year old Orbi system and some extenders to cover the house as it’s bricked walls and concrete slab 2nd floor it’s always been hard to cover all areas. With the 3 device Orbi 6E I was able to cover all and now use the wired back hall. No drop outs and whole house coverage. So yes expensive but excellent results.

Die Einrichtung mit dem Satelliten ist zwar etwas mühselig (die Synchronisation kann schon etwas dauern), aber wenn man es eingestellt hat, ist das ein wirklich hervorragendes System! Ich habe eine sehr gute und stabile Verbindung sowohl über W-LAN, wie auch per Kabel! Ich bin froh, mich dann doch für das NETGEAR Orbi System entschieden zu haben. Auch weil die Security Software wirklich gut ist! Ich habe die Pro Version gekauft.

Para un equipo de alto rendimiento como red de Internet, la instalación y configuración son rápidas y se hacen de forma intuitiva siguiendo las instrucciones de la aplicación.
