Great for our 97 year old walker she uses. Very smooth ride not those very loud metal noises that some other ones make. Very sturdiness on the her walker. The Grey color matches her walker seems like it came with her walker.

Going through knee replacement surgery, so using a walker is essential. The Medicare provided walker is great, but the cups on the rear vibrate and make raucous noise on any and all surfaces. But not with these replacement slides. Installation couldn’t be easier - slip off the original end cap and replace each rear leg with one of these sliders and in less than a minute you're all done.

Works great! I can feel the difference when walking, the caps does not move around and most importantly, the squeaking has stopped.

These are heavy duty and have lasted at a good while. They perform as advertised. I would recommend and will buy again.

Great slides! Bought for a frail 94yo. Easily installed on his walker (it has 1"round legs). Stay on securely and help him to very easily navigate on ANY surface. They seem to be very sturdy and should last a long time. They make his walker glide effortlessly even though he is extremely frail, shaky and weak.

I bought these to replace the "shoes" that came with my Drive walker, which had completely worn out after about 3 months of use. With the original shoes my walker kept getting stuck on the edges of carpets or on slight edges or raised cracks in sidewalks, so I was looking for a replacement that solved the problem. These skis work perfectly. I have been using them now for a month. They work as advertised, make my walker easily get onto carpets, and have not scratched our hardwood floors. I can't (yet) speak about their durability, but after one month of use (both indoors and out) the bottom surfaces do not seem like they have eroded much. They do feel less "smooth" and less silent on our hardwood floors than they did when they were new, but this is to be expected given I use them outdoors regularly, and not really a problem at all, just a change I noticed. What I started doing to make them "smooth and silent" again is to place small felt circles (the ones used on the legs of chairs, such as these ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N8VO7OB) at the bottom of the skis. These felt circles wear out very quickly as soon as I go outside, which I fully expected, but since each pair of circles is about 40 cents, replacing them as needed is no big deal (and to be honest these are not necessary, I just like it when my walker is nice and silent). I do have one word of caution: the description of the item says these are "universal". This is not the case. The skis will only fit walkers that have legs with an outside diameter of 1 1/8". I believe the vast majority of walkers use that size of leg tubing, but not all. A good way to check is to remove your walker's current shoes and place one of the legs on top of measuring tape to measure the outside diameter of the leg tubing. You can also measure the outside circumference of your walker's legs, which should be 3 17/32". The package of the skis does have a circle printed to help you determine if the size is correct, but by the time you receive the package it's too late to find out that the skis don't work with your walker.

I did a lot of reading of reviews. Right now I must use a walker, both inside and outside the house. The average tip for the glider wears out in no time when you use it on cement. Within days. So I wanted something more durable. These are outstanding! First they are made of very heavy duty material. Secondly, they absolutely glide across carpeting, much easier to walk with, relieving the natural strain to some degree of pushing the walker around. Third they were easy to put on. I am very impressed with these after trying 3 other kinds. I will update in a few weeks to tell you how long they lasted. Most especially if you use your walker indoors, these are absolutely perfect. They will last you a long time, and make walking a little easier. UPDATE: April 23 I have been using these almost 3 weeks. There is very little sign of wear. They are made well, really do glide and I am on cement a lot as I take my walker everyplace. I highly recommend these Update May 20th. Be using these 2 months. Go out to doctors often, to restaurants, to the mall, over cement, over uneven driveways, over rough tiles, almost daily. There is absolutely NO WEAR on these. I am so impressed. This is the first pair of gliders I have had that stood the test of time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Update June 26 Have had these over 2 months. Been using outdoors a lot, and indoors, so far no wear. I have used these over hardened tiles, pavement, sidewalks, and I am rather amazed at how they are holding up. I have tried quite a few tips for walkers and not had this kind of result with anything else. Most of my other kinds of tips wore out within a 2 week period, yet here I have used these everyday for many surfaces and they show no wear. This is a great investment, and you will be happy with them. Cannot believe the negative reviews on this. I have tested them well, and found them a very sturdy product.

Bought this for my dad, he loves it. He said they're more durable than the original ones that came with the walker. If he's happy with it then this deserves a 5!

I bought these before, and bought again to have a spare set. These were bought for my mother's walker. She is 95 years old. She has some circulation problems in her legs and feet, thus making them weaker and having pain. Otherwise she is fairly healthy for her age. The places near to where we live were out of stock on these. I saw the diameter of the tubing on her walker is a bit smaller than the proper size for these. I used some Duct Tape to build up the diameter. I inserted the skid over the enlarged diameter tubing. It was perfect. I re-enforced them with some Duct Tape wound around the outer part to the tubing. Perfect! The first thing my mother noticed with these skids being larger than the original ones especially for the skid part is they slide better and smoother on floors. They have less tendency to lift rugs when she goes over them. For an elderly person lifting the walker over the edge of rugs and keeping balanced is a bit of a strain. We also noticed the bottoms of this model of skids are slightly thicker. This will make them last longer than the originals. She walks a little on sidewalks, and around in shopping malls with her walker to have some exercise. Very satisfied with these skids. They worked out perfect for my mother. I would recommend them.

The skis fit the walker perfectly and have sufficiently thick plastic sliders to last for a long time. Just make sure the tubing of your walker and the diameter of the skis match.
