An incredible FPV drone from the industry leader
The DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo has exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment you take it out of the box, it’s clear you’re using a premium product. The build quality is exceptional, the flying experience is incredibly smooth, and the image quality is absolutely stunning. DJI continues to prove why it’s considered the benchmark in the consumer drone industry. The software, flight stability, obstacle sensing, transmission quality, and overall user experience are simply on another level. Everything feels polished and reliable, allowing you to focus on enjoying the flight instead of worrying about the technology. The Fly More Combo is definitely worth it. Having three batteries dramatically extends your flight sessions, making it much more enjoyable and practical. The extra charging accessories and convenience of always having another battery ready make a huge difference. Whether you’re capturing cinematic footage or just enjoying FPV flying, the Avata 2 is an incredible machine. It’s intuitive enough for newcomers while offering plenty of performance for experienced pilots. Overall, DJI has once again delivered an outstanding product. In my opinion, they’re the best brand in the drone market, and the Avata 2 is another example of why they’ve earned that reputation. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium FPV drone.

Perfect starter kit for drone flying
An amazing package for an amazing drone. I bought this package as a starter kit to get into drone flying. The Avata 2 is the perfect balance between training wheels (which can be taken off) and real capacity. Been flying it for months now. The drone is very fast, can fly high and has good view. The goggles have good reception, can adjust to your eyes and feel nice to wear. I live in a forested area and can fly about 200m between the trees before the signal fails. Flying above the trees I have a range of about 1200m. I haven't tested it in direct-line-of-sight yet. I've flown through light rain, got caught in some leaves and boinked a tree once, but barely any damage. The joystick is very intuitive and I actually often prefer it over the controller due to the simplicity of using it. Using the joystick combined with the goggles head tracking works amazing for sideways shots and exploration. This package comes with a nice compact bag that fits everything. The batteries last about 18 minutes of actual flying when doing so calmly. Swapping batteries is a matter of seconds (restarting the drone a total of about 2 minutes). The battery charger intelligently charges the fullest battery first.

Best Drone I’ve Ever Owned – Highly Impressed
I’m honestly blown away by this drone. It’s an incredibly impressive piece of tech. The maneuverability is outstanding it’s fast, responsive, and feels much more agile compared to other models I’ve owned before. The video quality is absolutely stunning and truly stands out. Every shot looks sharp, vibrant, and professional it’s hard not to be impressed. One of my favorite features is the ability to view everything through the goggles. It feels like you’re actually flying yourself, seeing the world from above in real time. That immersive experience makes it so much more exciting and unique. Overall, this drone exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for performance, quality, and an unforgettable flying experience.

Great Entry Point into FPV
This drone is awesome if you want a taste of what flying an FPV drone feels like, but still want the steady handling of a camera drone. It’s definitely quicker and more agile than your typical camera drone, but DJI added a Pause button that basically stops the drone mid-air and makes it hover. If things start to get out of control, just hit pause and it airbrakes immediately. I was honestly surprised at how fast it reacts. It really helps build confidence when you want to push this drone a bit. Battery life isn’t amazing, though. Compared to a regular camera drone, it doesn’t last as long. DJI says you’ll get around 23 minutes per battery, but I usually got more like 15 in real-world use. Thankfully, the bundle comes with three batteries and you’ll need them. On the bright side, the charging hub is great. It can move power around between batteries and top off the one that’s closest to full first. Super useful when you're out flying and need to get back in the air quickly. Moving onto the camera: it’s great for video, just okay for stills. If you’re into action shots, it shines. You can shoot 4K at 100fps for slow motion, or go with 4K/60fps for a smoother, cinematic look (tip: set the shutter speed to 1/120 and convert it to 30fps later. Thank me later). The stabilization is solid too, and you can even turn it off if you plan to add it in post using something like Gyroflow. As for photos, they’re decent but not amazing. This drone doesn’t love to sit still. It sways a bit because it’s so light, which makes getting clean still shots difficulty depending on the weather. If photography is your main goal, you might want to stick with a traditional camera drone. If you’re into FPV or want to learn, Manual Mode is going to be your endgoal. I’m no pro, but I’ve seen some seriously cool footage from people who know how to fly it. I gave it a try myself, and yeah it’s tough lol. Be ready to crash a few times. Don't worry, this drone can take it. Just know you’ll need to adjust a few settings and buy the RC controller separately to unlock full manual flying. Speaking of controllers, your experience really depends on which one you use. The included motion controller is super easy and fun to use. It’s responsive and intuitive enough that almost anyone can pick it up and fly with no problem. It even has built-in tricks like flips and drifts. But if you want more precise control, especially if you're flying in manual, the RC controller is the way to go. Even outside of Manual Mode, it just gives you more control overall. If you're just flying for fun, the motion controller is great. But if you're planning to get serious, the RC is worth picking up.

A compact solution - Great addition for the run and gun film maker
At first I did not like this drone and felt I should have stuck with the conventional drones ( like my AUTEL 6k drone I crashed and replaced with this at half the price) and not gone with FVP - There are a couple of moves I love to do with the conventional drone I've not been able to master on this drone yet - But now I am finally mastering this drone , I have to say its s lot of fun, kind of like a video game experience if your into flying games. (Starfox is the last video game I played : giving away my age) PRO's A fair price / compact and easy to travel with - very little weight / an easy unit to start and get up in the sky / LOVE the on board memory - no fiddling around with cards, although you have that option / Very well constructed : hit a tree the drone fell over in the forest, I thought "it's a wrap" I double clicked the take off button, and the drone was on it's side I could see from the angle of the camera , and somehow this little sucker started up took flight, wrestled its way through branches and twigs etc and I managed to get it back in the sky and return home (impressive) so it's pretty indestructible in my experience thus far - a great design with the propellers being encased. CONS: because it is very light it feels like a cheap toy, but that may be also it's strength, but it does not handle windy skies like a heavier drone, when your flying it looks like it's wobbling around but when I check the footage it's not as bad so maybe there is some internal gimble thing happening that's adjusting for that. I can't seem to do a full Birdseye shot parallel to the ground without the camera filming a corner of the propellers in the shot. OVERALL : a great drone for the price and amazing for sports and flying like a jet pilot speeding towards a roof top and you can zoom right over the top accurately missing the roof by inches. Even with a 6k drone in my travel rig for the cinematic shots sweeping around spinning in a circle, while turning angles etc - this done has it's own applications so it's apple and oranges and there will be times you can fly this drone into one window of a house and out the other widow a lot easier than a larger drone. And the images are crisp . I will get my monies worth out this drone for sure = good job DJI

Great
Great product! Exactly as described and works perfectly. The quality exceeded my expectations, and everything arrived well packaged and on time. Easy to use, feels well made, and offers excellent value for the price. I've been very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Every single interaction with this drone has been negative
I got the drone 3 weeks prior to writing this review and was extremely excited to fly my first FPV drone. Little did I know the world of pain I was about to enter. Every single interaction with the drone has been negative. I have contacted customer support about a dozen times since I purchased the drone. First, the software didn't work properly so my videos wouldn't save the right way or if they did, I had to do some weird maneuvers on my phone to download them (if you are in the US you have to tun off your cellular service before you can quick transfer files from the drone. Why? I don't know, but I found out after 90 minutes on the phone with customer support), I had to figure out the complicated way DJI saves videos so that I can actually watch the video from the drone with the stabilization and without the telemetry data on the goggles. Then the charging HUB stopped working properly and one of the batteries stopped charging with the hub. 2 hours and 4 customer support interactions later I'm still trying to figure out what to do about this because DJI is convinced I can ship the battery and HUB back via UPS for inspection, but UPS refuses to ship the battery. Oh yes and the bag the drone comes with is nice but the zipper caught in the little lanyard on the inside so I had to deal with that as well. Every single time I touch the drone something negative happens, I have to deal with some issue, or something breaks. Having this drone in my life has been a net negative. I would pay money to go back in time and never purchase this.

Won't regret if you want to have fun and specially if it is your first drone
I was not sure between camera drones and FPVs. The best candidates were Mini 4 Pro/Air 3 & Avata 2. They all have the same O4 signal system. Mini and Air drones has advantages in their camera, 360 obstacle avoidance feature (useful in manual use and vital when autonomous tracking) . All have same camera features but Mini 4 Pro has 4K vertical shot and Air 3 has a second 3X zoom lens. Air has bigger body close to Mavic series and around 750 grams where Mini is 259 and Avata is 370 grams. Heavy drones are much more stable in windy air. Avata has VR style googles which is excellent part of the fun. You feel you are flying. With this device you can control the camera view with head movements as well.

Great product!
Love this drone! I unboxed and carefully followed the instructions charging all the items first then spending the evening watching and reading all the info and videos before first flight the next day. After spending the large amount of money they cost I was obviously nervous for my first flight using the goggles and motion controller. My first flight was basically up and down with a few spins just to enjoy the view. Second flight I took off the beginner mode and wow let the fun begin! I took it up to max altitude then flew down our mountain and across the very large river 2 km away. I did not even have one pixel loss on the video I was watching! On the way back I I still had some battery left and I got a little cocky and decide to fly it around a group of tall trees just a few feet away and it was so easy to do. With the point and fly function it is so easy to land wit the aircraft proximity sensors taking care of you not crashing it. As I hovered over my back yard I decided to let the battery go to minimum and engage the auto Return to Home feature which kicked in and worked like a charm. The video is so good in the googles, this coupled with the eye correction included actually gives you the sensation of flight. I cant wait to go out with it again today!
