Can you use these pads with a brush for Zentangles? I'm thinking to the Niji water brush.

I cannot seem to blend. does the paper matter? i am using neenah classic crest.

Yes. These don’t work very well for blending on the Neenah crest. Try a mixed media or a watercolor paper and you will see a huge difference.
