Is it lit up for lights? The description & photos say it’s pre lit and cascading, but it doesn’t say if it’s a plug in or solar?

It reads pre-lit and battery operated but that is a mistake on the person setting up this post, it has no lights nor does it take batteries

Can this chair hang on the ceiling?

Yes, we have one hanging from the ceiling but, you have to be sure you screw it into a beam.

Is this chair comfortable without adding pillows or blankets?

Pretty good but I would get a cushion to sit on and throw a couple of pillows on it for more comfort, why not?

Will this work in a dorm room hanging from a lofted bed?

Depends on how much room you have! I would measure from where your gonna hang it to the floor to see how much room you'll have! It does stretch down a few inches further than the posted length because of your weight when you sit in it. So I would take that into account as well! Hope this helps!
