Perfect
Surprised how easy to set up, and works really well. Great quality video. Can zoom as well as preset views so donโt have to keep adjusting. Night vision is really good as well. An absolute bargain.

Great little cameras for the price
Picked up the twin pack to keep an eye on the cat while away, and theyโve been brilliant. Setup through the Tapo app took about five minutes each, no hub needed, and the 2K picture is sharp, clear enough to see exactly what the cat is up to when Iโm out. The 360ยฐ pan/tilt is the standout feature; I can swing the view right around the room from my phone, and the motion tracking follows movement on its own.

Fantastic value versatile CCTV cameras - RECOMMENDED
I've been using these CCTV cameras for a couple of years now, and, with several of them set up around the house, they have never failed. Image quality is good, and the infra-red LEDs fill a room with enough invisible light to give excellent results. With an installed micro-SD card, they record any movement they detect, and recording schedules are easy to adapt. The Tapo App is excellent, and I refer to it multiple times a day, as my phone gives me an audible signal whenever one of the cameras detects movement. All-in-all I am happy to recommend these cameras as a very cost-effective solution to anyone needing to monitor any areas of their house.

Overall happy purchase
Great camera. Works well as a baby monitor (which is what we're using it for. Network connection has issues sometimes though

Excellent indoor coverage and crisp 2K video!
Buying the Tapo C210 2-pack was fantastic value for monitoring our home. The 2K 3MP resolution is incredibly sharp, capturing small details easily during the day, and the infrared night vision is impressively clear up to a long distance. The 360-degree pan and tilt mechanical controls work flawlessly through the Tapo app, allowing me to look around the entire room without any blind spots. It's packed with smart features like motion tracking, person detection, and even baby crying alerts. Best of all, it supports up to a 512GB microSD card for local loop recording, completely saving us from paying a monthly cloud subscription. Having two of these completely covers our main indoor areas. Highly recommended!

Excellent Camera, especially for the price.
This is an absolutely excellent camera for the price. Very easy to set up and use, lots of features with the added benefit of no subscription required. I was also incredibly pleased that while a subscription service is offered, it's a matter of paying for extra features that are not essential... and not the usual where the device is basically useless without the subscription. I did read a review on here where a very angry person claimed that a subscription is necessary and the camera won't work without it. This is flat out false. To use the camera you download the app, create a (completely free) account and that's it. To be fair the same person also claimed that this was a massive scam because he had to put his router password into the app....clearly his tinfoil hat slipped and he has never used a wifi connected device before. But this brings me to setting the camera up which was very quick and easy. You plug in the camera to power, it turns on, you download the app, create your account then pick your camera model from the list. Your phone then connects to the camera's wifi (so it can talk to it), then you select your router from the list, put in your password, your phone sends this to the camera, which then disconnects from your phone and connects to your home network. That's it. The camera has a lot of good features. The picture quality is very decent, the sound quality is also decent and you can choose 720p, 1080p and 15, 20 or 25fps. The camera is highly customizable: It can be reset to record all the time, or only when it detects movement or a person, you can choose whether it will send an alert to your phone when it detects something. You can set up "detection zones" in the app (what areas of the image will trigger a recording, alert or alarm), set "privacy screens", essentially blurring out areas and can even set the camera to sound an alarm when it detects motion (Not an alarm on your phone, but a reasonable loud alarm coming from the camera itself.) I particularly liked that the camera can be set to privacy mode (essentially turning it off) when you're home, and there is a customizable "Home" and "Away" mode that can be switched with a single click. (For example mine is set to not trigger any alerts or detections or record when I'm home, but record and alert me to any detections while I'm out). One thing to be aware of is, as I mentioned before, the Alarm feature is a loud audible alarm coming from the camera itself. I didn't realize that and didn't switch it off in away mode. I bought this as a pet cam and my cat got a bit of a surprise when he came to the door to welcome me home and triggered it. One other thing I want to mention is the night vision mode. This works extremely well and has really good range, but bear in mind it achieves this by turning on a bright infra-red lamp. This is invisible to the naked eye and can easily illuminate a large sized room (the range is about 30 feet), but if you're planning on putting the camera in a window to record outside, the night vision essentially becomes useless as the infra red reflects in the window, and the affect is very similar to trying to take a phone through the window with the flash on. So, what's the difference between the free and subscription versions? Honestly, not a lot. With the free version, recordings are stored on an onboard microSD card, with the paid version, recordings are stored in the cloud. For my use case (keeping an eye on my cat while I'm at work), recording to a microSD isn't an issue, but if you're buying this as an actual security camera this might be a problem. With 'local' storage, If someone broke into your house, they could simply take the camera (and all the recordings on it) with them. Even if you manually trigger a recording from your phone, this is still saved to the SD card (you can download this recording to your phone, but it doesn't record directly to the phone itself). So if you're buying this as a security camera, it would probably be worth the ยฃ25 a year which keeps the last 7 days worth of footage in the cloud, or the ยฃ29 a year which keeps 30 days worth. The other paid feature included in the description is detailed alerts. For example, with the free version, I'll get an alert on my phone that just says "Motion Detected by (camera) at (time) the paid version gives you a snapshot, a more detailed description of what it sees and clicking the alert takes you straight to the footage in the cloud. It will also tag and sort videos based on what it sees. The only real issue I had with the camera comes to my specific use case. I bought this as a pet-cam which means I'd like to be able to point it down at the floor, and while the camera can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and 114 degrees of vertically, most of the vertical movement is in the upward direction. The camera does come with everything you need to mount the camera to a wall, which mostly solves this, but because of the form factor of the camera, mounted to a wall means you get good up and down movement, but then panning also moves the viewpoint up as the camera rotates. Minor nitpick mostly, and the best option would be to mount it to a ceiling, but that also comes with issues with getting power to it. So, in conclusion, this is an excellent camera, perfectly suited to be an indoor pet cam or baby monitor. It's also a very capable security camera, although as mentioned above, it's far more useful as a security camera if you have the subscription for cloud storage.

Amazing cctv
This little wonderful unit is amazing. There are not many things I review that I am so amazed with! I was a little worried when receiving it, as I am not very clever with tech, my phone cannot scan codes, so looked for the right app.... Download it, and followed the instructions. , ,.. Couldn't work out where to put little memory card... then realised you just move the black coloured panel up and then pop it in its tiny slot...and the tapo told me to format it and I did in app. I feel like a tech expert now๐๐ the app is easy.... Images are so clear. I have been downloaded a motion activation to my phone to see how it works. I now realized it's ai part recognises me and does not flag up person alert when I am in the garden. Mine is in back bedroom window ledge covering garden, great visability, lovely clear image and no issues with disconnecting from wifi. It's furthest away from wifi hub. I moved the camera up and down so set the right angle. Got it for 19.00. Wish I had got it years ago.

Kitty night watch
bought this to see if any other cats were coming in through the cat flap at night to eat ours food. none are - our little boy is coming in 16 times in the night to graze. oh and found out why i am waking up at 4.30 - other half is also getting up at 4.30 in the night......that solves that. :) Very good camera - high quality - night vision - easy to set up - need to buy card for it to get the recordings.
