Great stones, not so great backing
The sharpening stones arrived on-time, yay, and as advertised. The stones do a wonderful job on both my needs, chisels and planer blades. The non-slip backing, i knew they were going to be on the stones, are a bad idea as they are too thick and prevent a solid stable base needed for the sharpening. I do. I did know the stones were coming with the backing and I removed the it. The stones work much better using contact cement to mount them on thick glass or some other stable, flat surface. Great stones, backing didn't work for me but I tried. I know nothing about the longevity of these stones but have no reason to doubt them lasting.

Decent for the money
I was able to use these stones to sharpen all of my chisels following the Paul Sellers method. They worked well and as a first timer I was really impressed by how well these sharpened. That said, I do wish I’d gone for something a bit thicker / more heavy duty for long term use.

keep the blades sharp
I've used these things from other companies, and this one seems to be efficient enough. Learning to maintain all tools clean and sharp. good deal.

Cut slowly after a short time
They are okay. Slow for the reputation diamond stones have. I used these to flatten waterstones and flatten a bar of hss. It wasn't long until the cutting speed degraded a lot. They aren't getting any worse now, not worn out, but settled slower than some of my other diamond tools. I don't know the reason for why that is. Maybe there is a build quality difference. If I was to say grit numbers based on handling my collection of waterstones for reference. 460 1300 1500 is about where they settled in. I have found these work better dry. Some of my better waterstones cut faster and the cheap stones don't. So, I think these are better than the bargain waterstones but not as good as quality waterstones once they have settled in. That said, after all of the use I put them through cutting very hard material, I was still able to re profile three chisles and sharpen them in a couple hours. It took me half a day to re profile one chisle on a cheap waterstone. Lot of metal to remove to get the angle I want for the purpose I want. Because these are thin, I use glass with double sided tape to keep them from bending. There isn't a lot of room for my hands doing it that way. If I get more diamond stones, I want to have the bar type next time.

These work great for the price.
They seemed to work great. Although sharpening my hand planes with water discolored the plates. Making the grit marking on them harder to see. The rubber like backings didn’t grip my counter or table. They need to be held in place so I could use both hands for sharpening control. Notice the last photo how you can hardly read the numbers on them anymore. But the did sharpen my blades quite well for a price you can’t beat.

Best diamond sharpening cards!
I am a dental hygienist, and refuse to pay Hu-Friedy prices for diamond sharpening stones/cards. This is my favorite set that I have purchased. The grits are perfect, I get a sharp, long lasting edge when I use them, and no nicks in my scalers. The Hu-Friedy diamond cards are not nearly Z flawless as these stones. Will definitely be repurchasing in the future!

As described
Not exactly the set I was looking for; I was hoping for 150, 800, 1200 to mimic the setup Paul Sellers settled on. (See his YouTube channel for details.) And I was tempted to go up a size. But this should be close enough, at this price they are almost disposable if I change my mind. Note that Paul recommends adhering the plates to a backing board, so it's okay if the plates themselves are thin; the board will provide the rigidity to help keep them flat.

Works well
These really work well. I use them for sharpening my carbide lathe turning chisels. Use them with some lapping fluid and they work wonders no the blades.
