Wild Flowers Playing Cards

I purchased these cards as a gift for my mother, who is a certified botanical illustrator. She was thrilled! She wants to buy decks as holiday gifts for her artist friends. Each card features a different detailed illustration of a particular wildflower, with the name of the plant in English and in Latin. They’re so lovely and cheerful, it made playing cards even more fun, reading out the names of the plants, and showing one another the pictures.It is true that the deck is slightly smaller than a standard deck of cards, but my mom liked that (she’s a smaller person). I have large hands, but had no trouble shuffling or dealing.This wildflower deck was such a hit, I’m going to buy the deck with “garden” flowers, and the herb deck next. I highly recommend these cards. I hope I’ve been helpful!

Nice illustrations. Great quality.

I saw these at one of the parks we visited this summer. But they were out of bugs. So my husband bought them for me online. It is a great way to get students interested in different things, or just to enjoy pretty cards yourself while playing.

They are smaller than regular/Bicycle deck cards. Also, I thought this included 6 decks but it’s only 1 deck with a variety of flowers. The photo is misleading.
