I live in the Midwest near Chicago, I have one of the INTEX above ground pools 18’ x 48”. These balls work phenomenal. I’m a father of five so I don’t have time to mess around with sand a these work perfectly. Water has been clean and clear since I purchased them. Over a month ago. These are a game changer! My sister kept telling me I need to get them and try it in my filter system and I finally gave in. I do take them out and clean them a little more often than as recommended and my pool is crystal clear. I only have to vacuum once every two weeks and these have made a heck of a difference. I even put a handful of them in my skimmer basket for a little extra filtration and every time I clean them the water is dirty that I squeeze out so they definitely trap everything.

I would give 0 stars for this product if I could. This product does not work as described. My pool had so much algae. Also, always muck floating in it like you will see. After, pouring chemicals and chemicals in the pool to try and get it clean. Finally in less than a month I opened my pool filter and I was horrified. I had to make the decision to go back to filter sand. I do not recommend this product at all. Of course I made this decision after being embarrassed when my 4th of July guests came over. I only had these balls since June 6 and placed in filter June 7. Yet here we are past return window now. I have wasted so many chemicals. Water costs from backwashing my pool. Time not spent swimming due to algae.

These work really well to take out small particles from the pool water. Our complaint is that cleaning them is a chore! They catch so much that they really need to be individually (yes, individually) washed off and THEN put through a washing machine. We have two bags of these in our filter so it is a couple hours each time. But they do clean the water.

Super good my filter works perfectly, bring your bag so you can wash it when you want to change them. I recommend it 100%

great product nice replacment for sand and nice that it comes with wash bag to put in washer machine to wash and reuse highly recomend if you dont like cleaning sand from bottom of your pool and nice that they are washable so you can reuse them.
