Best results so I love the product and many others from this line - I am at the 3rd jar of the powder ... this product has worked the best for me - never had an acne problem until I reached the 60's! ... also, considering that a mature skin will not do well with powders and other drying products was something to consider - So, this Blemish Powder: 1. it does clear the acne and helps clear the blemish better that any other product out there - and not just on the face 2. it does not dry the skin, especially the mature one 3. I do a spot application with the tip of my finger to make sure I get the powder to penetrate the blemish and the skin and then I blend it with the puff provided so I do not look like I have whiter spots on my face 4. the acnee or the blemish are less visible even though the powder does not have any tint, is just white. I guess the white of the powder with the pink/redness of the blemish balance each other out .... but for the last coverage, I use another brand face powder, like SkinClearing or other mineral powder. 5. for the rest of my face and after healing I use the Vit C cream/ Serum (I prefer the cream).... apply by patting with my palms so the circulation is also invigorated, I let it settle for a min and then I use the Rose Water Toner that will not only hydrate the skin but will also take care of any excess Vit C cream/ serum and also help penetrate deeper making it more efficient 6. whatever other product you choose, please read the Use instructions because Vit C and products with glycolic acids and other acid exfoliators and cleansers do not go well together ....

I do not know how it works but it truly DOES. I get hormonal breakouts around my cycle and I put this on it and the flare up calms overnight. I use the drying lotion for anything deep or cystic and that also is insane how fast and well it works. I have very sensitive skin but both this and the drying lotion work and do not overly irritate my skin unless I use too much or too often. I but a new tub of this about every 2 years, it lasts forever and works the entire time. I will be a lifetime buyer of this unless they change the formula. Cannot recommend enough!

This product is a cult fave just like their drying lotion, but gets so misunderstood from the reviews I've read. It is an all over finishing powder, yes, for all skin tones! If you use it that way on melanin-blessed skin, please don't use the puff they provide. That is too heavy an application and will show opaque on your skin. Use a very fluffy, long bristled powder brush. Natural bristle holds the product, synthetic bristle let's it fly away. I like synthetic for finishing powder so it's not cakey. And for the love, not a flat-top aka kabuki or domed brush. That is what you want for a powder foundation application. The DUcare you can find here on Amazon looks like it'll do the job great! B09W957GTH <--- search that ASIN it'll pop up the D03. This is also an anti-redness/color correcting powder. That's a happy by-product of the yellowish color of the active ingredient sulfur. It is a daytime drying treatment to just- popped zits, y'all! Even the ones you could kick yourself for messing with when you're about to do your makeup and there's fluid...tap that bad boy with some of this magic Blemish Repairing Powder on a cotton swab. If it's not open, and you don't need full face prevention, and you just want to speed healing of yesterday's monster? I use a concealer brush or even an eye lining brush. Natural bristle for this trick. No fly away-lays down the product well. Boys! Treats popped and picked zits in the day, takes away redness, cotton swab application. Full face acne protection or broken out shave bumps in beard area? Big, fluffy synthetic bristle brush. Like an old fashioned shaving cream brush would work awesome for the guys. Ya dig? I've been using this powder for years. I dust it on and then dust it off because it is light in color and I don't want to look like a ghost. But it does keep the shine down to a minimum and absorbs the extra oily looking skin. Helps with quicker healing.

Mario Badescu always seems to get it just just when it comes to skin products-- this healing blemish face powder can be used during the day (under makeup) or at night before bedtime. It dries up any oily patches on my face and instantly works on those "would be" blemishes/pimples before they actually make their appearance. This stuff is like an instant fix and I make sure to keep it on hand at all times-- LOVE IT!
